Be the first kid on the block to grow your own penicillin. This vial of powdered agar contains enough for 10-12 plates, 1/8" deep. It includes instructions (for cooking up the agar, not for growing penicillin). Order our package of (20) sterile petri dishes (Item #52554), and knock their socks off at the next science fair.

91770 ALUMINUM DISSECTION TRAY WITH WHITE WAX |
We collected it ourselves, from local students. (Just a little joke, teachers.) What we have here is bacteria-experiment kit for classroom use with (2) 200ml bottles of prepared nutrient agar, (20) sterile Petri dishes, (10) sterile swabs, and (4) instruction sheets. Made for individual experiments or for use with (4) groups of up to (6) students. Use it to test common surfaces, do clean hands/dirty hands or clean mouth/dirty mouth tests of soap and mouthwash, or compare students' mouths to a dog's mouth, if you have a dog handy.

Inside the lab, it's a standard translucent-white, LDPE-plastic wash bottle, 500ml/16oz, measuring 2-3/4" dia x 6-3/4 tall with a screwcap and a right-angle, 5/16" dia nozzle. Outside the lab, it's so pleasing to squeeze and squirt with that some of us keep them in the kitchen.
