Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

Little Glass Ampules
Terrific little glass bottles with looooong necks, in the shape called "Ampules". About half the total height is a standard cylindrical shape, at the top of this there is shoulder and above that, is an elongated tulip shaped neck. All are clear. They may have either a blue, gold or ground band on or below the "bulb" of the tulip. Bud vases for a single forgetmenot, decorative holders for colored sand or water, delicate vials for perfumes and essences, whatever the use, you just won't find them in stores. The 2 ml is 75mm tall with a 4mm neck and is 11.5mm at the bottom while the 5 ml is 88mm tall with a 6mm neck and is 16mm in diameter at the bottom. Looking for bulk savings? Scope Your Stethos!!
Stethos is Greek for chest. Indeed you can scope your stethos with this stethoscope, or your friend's or your dog's. But it works equally well for picking up any sound being transmitted through a solid medium. Listen to the air flowing through the heating ducts, the water in the pipes, the sounds of machinery, the termites munching on the floor joists!! The color does vary so we will select from what's currently available. We've had blue, teal, red, black, burgandy, green and purple, but there may be other colors yet to be seen! A great discovery device whether for biology or other pursuits. Not of professional quality, but not just a toy.

Metric Triple Beam Balance
Easy to use, and with 0.1 gram sensitivity the O'haus triple beam balance is perfect for measuring chemicals, biological specimens or the rutabaga for tonight's supper. Parallax free, the balance is damped by a pair of alnico magnets in the end post for friction free use. The three notched and tiered beams (100-500 grams, 10-100 grams, 0-10 grams) have center reading sliding poises. 610 gram capacity (standard) can be increased to 2610 grams by the use of attachment weights, available as an accessory.
