Pocket Electronic Scale
A honey of a little digital scale, the techies in the back room say. This improved Triton T2® scale is pocket-sized (5-7/8" x 3-1/8" x 3/4" thick), and measures up to 300g x 0.1g, 10.5 oz x .005 oz, 190 pennyweight x 0.1 dwt, and 9.6 Troy ounces x .001 ozt. Microscope glassware for examination of blood, pond water, mold, and other minutiae. All of the microscope slides are optically clear glass 26mm x 76mm (about 1" x 3"), between 1mm and 1.2mm thick. The well slides, of course, have a concave well to hold a drop of liquid. Our each is a package of (12) well slides, or a box of (72) standard slides with ground or beveled edges. Cover glasses are the smaller and very thin pieces of glass used as the top of the glass slide sandwich. They are often used temporarily by simply dropping them onto a drop of liquid to flatten and spread it and to minimize evaporation. More confident microscopists will cement them in place to permanently preserve a specimen. Our each is a package of (100) cover glasses 18 mm square, #1 thickness (0.13mm to 0.17mm). If you need one, you need both.

Here's a great support stand for the lab. This very sturdy, very heavy (3.7 lb) microscope stand has a 9" x 6-1/2" enameled metal base bored to accept the 13-3/4" x 3/4" dia chrome rod that bolts to it. On the rod, an adjustable 9/32" thick x 1-5/16" dia ring tightens in place with a setscrew.

Rubber Stopper
Pat's been hanging around the medical supply house again. We now have a boatload of rubber stoppers, the kind you see on bottles of liquid medicine, crimped down with an aluminum collar. (Pat didn’t buy the aluminum collars.) The medicine is removed via a hypodermic needle through the stopper. The rubber stoppers come in blue or gray They are 3/4” across the top, 5/16” top to bottom, and fits a 1/2” (13 mm) dia opening. Why would you want them? Because they'll fit many of the small wide-mouth and slope-shouldered bottles in our Bottlemania listing. Pat's really good!

Little Glass Ampules
Terrific little glass bottles with looooong necks, in the shape called "Ampules". About half the total height is a standard cylindrical shape, at the top of this there is shoulder and above that, is an elongated tulip shaped neck. All are clear. They may have either a blue, gold or ground band on or below the "bulb" of the tulip. Bud vases for a single forgetmenot, decorative holders for colored sand or water, delicate vials for perfumes and essences, whatever the use, you just won't find them in stores. Micro-Microscope
Two versions of teeny-weeny-tiny microscopes. Cute, but not toys. Both deliver 45X in a miniscule body with a 1/4” eyepiece. The non-illuminated version is 1-3/8” tall x 9/16” dia.
