Remember VisiCalc? This is AudioCalc, our very first talking calculator. Apart from the obvious advantages for the visually impaired, you could use it to prove to your boss that you're hard at work. Or let it keep you company while you're doing the taxes. Measures 6-1/2" x 4-1/8" x 3/4" thick and has the basic calculator functions plus memory. The female voice has (2) volume levels and can be turned off (about which we are making zero jokes, you'll note) and will announce all keystrokes or just the final answer, and individual digits or the full number.

Sort of brooch-like, it is. A diminutive 2-1/4" ballpoint dangles from 1-1/4" dia x 3/8" thick reel, with a steel alligator-style clip on the back. Pull the pen and it unreels on a 2-foot nylon cord.
