Putin These On Sale
Seventy-plus years of Soviet history neatly packed into a set of (5) wooden nesting dolls, just like the chubby-mummy matryoshka, but with hammer and sickle emblems on their backs. The outer doll is a 6-1/2" tall Gorbachev, with Brezhnev, Khruschev (we think), Joe Stalin, and a tiny, 1-3/4" Vladimir Lenin all nesting inside. Recent Russian events are putin them in the surplus universe.

Stand-Up Egg
Could be a candy dish or candle holder, but could also hold any number of things. This egg-shaped container is heavy, clear glass, 5-1/4" tall x 3-3/4" dia at the widest part. The egg splits at the center in a wavy line. Both the top half (the lid) and the bottom are molded with decorative designs, including some chocolate kiss patterns that may hint at its provenance.

Ooh! How Bright Your Stairs Are!
Just the thing to add visibility to your dark basement steps. Our each is Jobar's 4-pack of smooth, light-green, glow-in-the-dark rubber stair treads with self-adhesive strips on the back. Each non-slip tread is 15-3/4" long x 6-3/4" deep x 1/16" thick. We also like these as head-savers for low beams in dark places.

The Noah's Flood Alarm alerts you instantly to a leaking hot-water heater or an overflowing tub. Place the small, flat plastic sensor where water shouldn't be. A 10-ft white wire leads to a 3-3/8" x 1-3/4" x 3/4" plastic housing with an LED alarm and (2) "AA" batteries (yours, not ours). When the sensor gets wet, the LED will flash and a buzzer (think alarm clock) will sound and save the day.
