Finger Exerciser
Called the "Hand Grip," this odd little massager/squeeze box thingy provides, according to the manufacturer, "comfort to shoulder" among other things. We don't know about that, but it's perfect for exercising/strengthening a grip, particularly one finger at a time. We'd prescribe it after carpal tunnel surgery, for broken digit rehab, or for guitar players looking to power-up the pinky for those low-on-the-neck blues riffs. It's 2-3/8" long x 1-1/2" dia, with little bumps on both ends.

You Pull The Tractor
Makes for a nice change. Customize your pull-chain lights or fan with this licensed John Deere accessory. A 6-1/2" length of ball chain with a 2-1/8" tall polyresin Deere tractor at the bottom and a 1-1/8" tall barn just above it attaches easily to a pull-chain. When you redecorate, snip off the chain and you're left with some nice farm toys.

Top o' the World, Ma!
Jimmy Cagney in "White Heat," and it would have been much easier if he'd just bought our special top of the world geo-umbrella. It's 34" long when folded, has a 39" span, and is printed with a cartoony view of the whole northern hemisphere from above. The map is dark and light blue, green and sand, and matches the light-blue plastic tip and curled handle.

We were absolutely flummoxed when we saw these brummagem globes! How did these Moroccan–inspired accessories show up in our warehouse, instead of some trendy home–decor shoppe? The shiny 3–7/8" dia plastic metallic looking globes are wrapped in a copper–colored exterior armature, graced with (2) metallic–gunmetal marbles in a similar, if finer, armature, hanging from a 28" plated, copper–colored chain? In your choice, not our choice, of silver or purple? All we can say is "Yes, Martha, there is a Santa Claus."

On A Smaller Scale...
you may sacrifice accuracy. This pretty little brass-pan balance scale screws into a plate inside the wood case which serves as it's base. The case is 6-5/8" x 1-1/4" x 3-7/8" with a front latch and the assembled scale stands approx 5-3/4" tall with the 1-5/8" dia pans hanging from small chains. Included are 1g, 2x 2g and 5g brass weights, a small cannister holding 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200mg weights and a tweezers for handling them. We wouldn't bet the farm on the accuracy of those, so this is more of a decorative item. Pretty darn decorative, though, particularly for the new lawyer (or judge) in the family.

They call it the IQ Clip, because it remembers better than you do. It's a thin little electronic LCD clock and alarm with a clip (to hook it on a file, belt or pocket) and a magnetic back (to stick it to a file cabinet or kitchen appliance). It has a 15-minute resolution and can be set for any time up to 99 days in the future. The same-day alarm will give you four reminders; the future-date alarm will warn you every 15 minutes for up to 24 hours in advance. It's like your mother, but with a snooze button.
