Electronic Tickler File
They call it the IQ Clip, because it remembers better than you do. It's a thin little electronic LCD clock and alarm with a clip (to hook it on a file, belt or pocket) and a magnetic back (to stick it to a file cabinet or kitchen appliance). It has a 15-minute resolution and can be set for any time up to 99 days in the future. The same-day alarm will give you four reminders; the future-date alarm will warn you every 15 minutes for up to 24 hours in advance. It's like your mother, but with a snooze button. We'll choose a 2-3/8" x 3/4" x 5/8" thick IQ Clip in pastel blue or yellow for you.

These bright little globe magnets, complete with continents, seas, etc., are 1" dia and are polarized, of course, at the poles. Made from renewable and/or recyclable materials, the better to save the Earth. Assembled from 2 separate hemispheres, so some might be just the tiniest bit elongated and rotated out of alignment at the equator, but that's what surplus is for. You get (2) packs of (4) globes each, plenty to bribe your favorite social studies teacher.

Terrific glass lampshades in a straight-sided bell shape. You get (2) matching shades, our choice of a clear iridescent glass with a cut edge, a clear crackle glass, a frosted glass with a graceful blue spiral accent, or one etched with Jack Frost patterns. Each is 4" tall x 4-1/2" dia with a 1-1/2" dia mouth.
