Stand-Up Egg
Could be a candy dish or candle holder, but could also hold any number of things. This egg-shaped container is heavy, clear glass, 5-1/4" tall x 3-3/4" dia at the widest part. The egg splits at the center in a wavy line. Both the top half (the lid) and the bottom are molded with decorative designs, including some chocolate kiss patterns that may hint at its provenance.

Keep them safe. For storing hard and soft lenses, this Color-Mate® case was made for one of your larger national drugstore chains, but we've got it now. In assorted colors, from which we'll pick, it's approx 2-3/8" long and marked L and R.

Cool Specs Cases
We think these look exactly like the case Bono would put his sunglasses in if he shopped here. (But we think he pays retail, which just goes to show you.) You, however, can own these for a song. They're lightly tinted transparent vinyl cases in assorted colors, 5-7/8" long x 1-13/16" x 1-1/8", with a snap closure. We'll pick (2) different, but cool, versions.

Taken alone, this huge slipper-shape with a double-thick sole will protect your new walking cast on the trip home from the hospital. As a pair, and that's what our each is, the 14" long x 8" wide (when flat) Christmas-green felt slippers look more like something Santa would ease into after a long Christmas eve. They work well as exercise sliders, but since their black binding forms a loop at the heel end, we're hanging them on the back porch filled with posies and pots of herbs. Plastic bookmarks, each about 2" sq. The center and outer rim are separated: slide it over a page so the center is on one side and the rim is on the other to hold your place. The centers have a variety of (mostly) sports logos, but some have illuminated letters from medieval manuscripts. Snap them off a strip of (6) identical (the illuminated letters are all eg: "B" but the illumination is different for each one). We'll give you (6) strips, at least (3) different.

Any Nuts On The Tree?
To be honest, we don't see this painted-pressboard family tree on any table that belongs to OUR family. It's 15" wide x almost 15" tall, painted a blatant green and brown, and is just too sappy. But the (10) 2-1/2" x 2" oval frames scattered on it are easy to access from the back and have lightweight plastic protecting any pictures they hold. We think the tree is great for kids' bedrooms and could work well in classrooms -- and if it's a gift from a kid, complete with family pictures, who's gonna complain about a little sap on the furniture?
