Black-Light Magic Pen

For the kid with secret messages to pass, or the doorman at a SOHO club-a gel pen that writes in invisible ink that shows up fluorescent orange under the ultraviolet light from the LED that's attached to the top of the pen on a bendable wire. A Different Kind of Mars Light
You can't clamp this one top of your car, but it'll give your living room a lovely star-trekkish design flavor. A Saturn-like (oddly, given the name) planet sits atop a silver hourglass/lava-lampish base and either pulses or slowly, fetchingly morphs through luminous red, green, and lavender colors, via internal LEDs. Moving Sky-Show Extraordinaire
This staggeringly vivid night-sky projector features green, laser-beamed moving stars and cloud cover and, according to Paul (our in-house astro-galactic display maven), "adjustable-intensity nebula." If that means you can lie supine and happily stare at it for a few hours, we agree, particularly if you cue up the Dark Side of the Moon album at the same time. Or skip the Pink Floyd, and use it to lull the children to sleep. Not an astronomically accurate sky, of course, but you're definitely not going to care. The unit is approx 11" tall on a 9-1/2" x 8-3/8" oval base and plugs in via a wall adapter. The manufacturer suggests a maximum 4-hour duty cycle, white or light walls and a very dark room. Has mounting slots on the base.

Accent Lighting
So that your wheat can see where it's growing. OK, they're really for all those teeny-light needs: dollhouses, models, robots, train sets, like that. This set was made to be a repair kit for Aura Grain of Wheat rope lights, and you can still use it for that, but you'll get an 18" length of 3/8" dia clear or colored rope with (18) white lights inside, plus (2) 1-3/4" pieces of clear shrink-wrap tube, and (2) 2-pin splice connectors. The 18" length operates at 120VAC & draws approx. 9 watts. Use it as is or slice the tube and remove the 6 volt GOW lights. Need to fancy up your train layout? Add tee connectors, and go to it!

Monkey Lamp
This lamp is as cute as a monkey! All right, this lamp is a monkey. The little guy is hugging a palm tree under a dark-brown, textured, clip-on shade. The painted polyresin lamp is 12-1/2" tall OA, and has a candelabra socket and a 5-ft cord with an in-line thumbwheel switch. And the monkey's smiling, because even though the lamp has a European plug, we've thoughtfully included an adapter. Now it can be plugged into a standard American outlet, and you get to buy a new 110-volt bulb or use the 220-volt bulb that came with it as a nightlight.
