Pull-N-Scratch
It's either a telescoping aluminum backscratcher, a fork for people whose elbows don't bend, or a sand rake for miniature Zen gardens. You pick. The 5-draw shaft extends from 6-5/8" to 20-3/8" long, the 5-tine rake is 1-3/16" wide, and it has a pocket clip.

Turn this little 40-second hourglass over three times for two-minute eggs, give or take five seconds a turn, because this is really a desk accessory and not a timer calibrated at Greenwich. This is a textured steel, bronze-colored mini-tray/coaster, and although a cold drink would probably cause condensation on the outside bottom-side, it still looks very, very useful. It's 4-1/8" square with 1/2" tall sides that taper out a bit so that it's 4-11/16" square at the top. Interesting. Attractive. And priced so low you can use it anywhere and everywhere.

Tired of Plastic?
Real stainless steel spoons, for a pittance. The 7-1/8" long tablespoons, for stirring tables or for eating soup, have a tasteful bead pattern on the edge of the handle. True, these are relative lightweights, but they're a reasonable compromise when you want something better than plastic, but not good enough to make you go through the trash looking for a lost spoon. Attractive, and perfect for places where the flatware tends to disappear.

Disposabowls
Select-a-shape lightweight, disposable, cream-colored LDPE bowls! The 16-oz bowls with tight-fitting disposable lids are 2-3/8" deep and a bit over 5" dia at the top. Look like lidded cereal bowls and were, we think, intended to be used on deli trays, but we won't make a food-safe claim. We'll suggest that they make nice paint pots and craft containers, and are cheap enough to either recycle or toss out when you're done. The shallow LDPE bowls are 1-3/8" deep, also a bit over 5" dia at the top, hold 8 oz, and are also a good shape for holding paint or bits and pieces during art class. Buy both sizes, since the lids from the deep bowls also fit the shallow ones! Serendipity? We consider it clever planning.
