Spin this spindle and watch it turn in perpetuity!! Well, for a long time anyway. Inside the 5-1/2" long colored plastic spindle are magnets which are repelled by magnets in the 5" x 3" black plastic base. The variously colored spindle floats in the air above the base thus virtually free of normal friction. It also has red lights to light up its way as it spins, giving it almost a strobing effect. Nifty desk toy named "Revolution".

Bronzish And Deepish
And trayish. Plus coaster-like. This is a textured steel, bronze-colored mini-tray/coaster, and although a cold drink would probably cause condensation on the outside bottom-side, it still looks very, very useful. It's 4-1/8" square with 1/2" tall sides that taper out a bit so that it's 4-11/16" square at the top. Interesting. Attractive. And priced so low you can use it anywhere and everywhere.

Try this pair of computer speakers that run on (2) "C" batteries each and have independent power, amp, treble-boost and volume controls. (If you hate batteries, a 6V 100mA power adapter may be available somewhere, but is not included.) Called the "Drain Scoop" by the manufacturer, it's the slotted spoon of the scoop universe, which means it should work for cleaning out anything that you need to scoop while letting the liquid slip through. It lets sand and kitty litter slip through, too, and we think the aluminum is more hygienic than a porous plastic litter-box scoop! Measures approx 8" long with a 5" scoop and (4) slots approx 1/4" wide.

This idea is for the birds. Literally. A green/black plastic perch, dish, and dispenser that you can screw onto an inverted plastic pop bottle to convert it into a bird feeder. Obviously, the bottle should have been emptied of pop and filled with seed. One of those "100 things to do with old coat hangers" ideas that really works!! Complete with instructions and bail to hang the completed feeder. Please note: this feeder will not attach properly to the new Coca-Cola low-profile bottles.

More fun for the easily amused! A very stylish 3-1/2" x 5-1/4" clear acrylic panel, less that 1/2" thick has two flattened hourglass chambers within it. Both have non-toxic fluids and suspended in one are black grains that are heavier than the liquid. In the other are colored grains that are lighter. Flip the works from one black plastic end to the other and the grains slowly do their things, black down, colored up, over maybe a five minute period. Very soothing. We'll pick your color from neon red, orange, chartreuse and magenta.
