Far Out & Groovy Globe
When your mom's in the room, it's just a plain, white 8" dia frosted plastic globe, but turn it on when she leaves and watch the red, green and blue LEDs inside glow as they rotate through a motorized diffuser lens. Has (4) different modes. It's called the Supernova Globe, and the manufacturer assures us that the ever-evolving colors and configurations create a calming atmosphere, and who doesn't need that? Makes a particularly trippy night light.

Wowzy! Look At That!
Our illuminated and motorized electric sign pulsates, morphs and flashes on two 27" (diag) screens (it's viewable from both sides). It cycles through lines, checkerboard and wave patterns while also slowly cycling through the spectrum of colors. An attention grabber, with or without an advertising message, and even by itself may be more entertaining than many reality TV shows. And you can always superimpose lettering on it (on acetate, for example). Measures 27" wide x 18" high x 3-1/4" thick with a 22" x 15-3/4" window. A 6" square cleaning cloth woven of 90,000 microfibers per sq. inch, each 0.5 mm dia. Super absorbent, it can be used wet or dry to clean the most delicate lens, CD, or for that matter, your car or kitchen counter. "As seen on TV" except this one really lives up to the hype. You need several to clean super clean where it really counts. Like your specs and other coated optics.

Nice oblong, snap-shut case holds a removable screw-top contact-lens case, and has a mirror inside the top to help you stick those lenses on your own personal eyeballs. Take out the lens case and it makes a nice pill-box, 2-5/8" long x 1-1/2" x 7/8" thick. Lids are in assorted patterns and colors. We'll pick (2) different, as long as the assortment holds out.

Very-Small-Pole Lamp
This clamp-on "pole" light is for very small poles like canes, umbrella stems, pipes, tent poles or tools. It's a 2-3/4" dia x 1-1/8" thick donut, hinged to open and reveal a pair of spring-loaded clips that fit from 3/8" to 1" dia. (Ignore the surplus-generating "1-1/4 inch" on the package.) An ionizer for the ice box. This nice little ionizer, according to the package, kills bacteria, purifies the air inside the refrigerator, neutralizes stale and foul (and probably fowl) odors, prevents odor transference between foods, and extends the shelf life for meats, poultry and fish. It has hi/low/auto modes and runs on (4) D-cell batteries that you supply, but if you think ahead, we can ship them right with the ionizer! In a gray-white plastic, it measures 6-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 2" thick with a floral-pattern grill and has a light to indicate that it's ionizing away.

Or off. Our multi-use cloths in French-blue cotton measure 26-1/2" x 17". They make nice, and super-cheap, kitchen-, shop- or general-purpose towels. We just ignore the little 1" dia hemmed hole in the center, but it could be handy if you're sliding it over your mop handle to replace a disposable dust cover. Or doing thumb surgery.
