This hard-plastic black box has brass-plated, spring-loaded hinges that snap it shut or hold it open at a 90° angle. (And that don't snap off themselves after six months, like the plastic hinges do.) Measures approx 6" x 4" x 2-1/4". The surface is textured, with a 2" x 4" smooth label section on the top.

Handy clear plastic storage box/sorter with a double-snap lid and (18) compartments, slightly rounded on the bottoms for easy pickin' of tiny things-beads, sinkers, washers, like that. Wooden Mini-Crates
With faux-vintage signs pasted on the end panels. Think miniature versions of old wooden orange crates, finished with a dark stain. They're all 5-1/2" x 4-3/4" x 3" tall, in sets of (4), each set with (4) different designs. The Route 66 versions bear classic ads for the highway; the restaurant crates will have "Spike's Tavern," "Crawdad Hole," or similar labels; and the saloon crates carry old tavern signs ("Pay Toilet - 10 cents," or something similar). Good for gifties, party favors, centerpieces, like that.

Great price on this little pill box--maybe because it has only (6) compartments. Perfect to keep at the office if you work Saturdays. It's white plastic, 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 3/4" with a flip-top lid. (Locks tight, and opens most easily by sliding a fingernail into the gap between top and bottom.) Also good in tool- or tackle-boxes for those itsy things that get lost otherwise. Yours might or might not have someone else's logo/message on the top.

If you like bowls that say "Pretzels" and address books that say "Addresses," you'll love this 4" x 2-1/2" x 1-5/16" black-plastic box the says "MOM'S JEWELRY BOX" on it in white. It has a mirror on the inside of the hinged lid, a cheesy red liner, and a light-activated music box that plays a snatch of Beethoven - after you find the little electronic device under the removable lining and put in a couple of watch batteries (not included). If you're not into labeling, Mom can be rubbed out with a little denatured alcohol (along with any other letters you choose). Lift out the music module, and you're left with a snazzy black box you can use for storing any number of small items. And you thought it was going to be tacky!

Inlaid Boxes
In unfinished pine, but a giant step up from plain. The heart-shaped version, with 3/4" stripes of light and darker pine on the lid, measures 4-1/8" wide x 2-1/8" tall and has brass-plated hinges and a magnetic catch. The drum-shaped one is 3-1/4" dia x 4" long, rests horizontally on (2) 1/2" tall supports, and has a checkerboard pattern of 1-3/8" X 7/8" rectangles all the way around. The catch and hinges are brass-plated. You'll get (2) of each style.
