Wooden Mini-Crates
With faux-vintage signs pasted on the end panels. Think miniature versions of old wooden orange crates, finished with a dark stain. They're all 5-1/2" x 4-3/4" x 3" tall, in sets of (4), each set with (4) different designs. The Route 66 versions bear classic ads for the highway; the restaurant crates will have "Spike's Tavern," "Crawdad Hole," or similar labels; and the saloon crates carry old tavern signs ("Pay Toilet - 10 cents," or something similar). Good for gifties, party favors, centerpieces, like that.

Plastic Pill Bottles
Your quotidian, standard, amber-plastic pharmacy-issue capsule containers. The small measures 2-11/16" tall x 1-1/4" dia (12 drams or 1.5 oz), the large is 3-3/8" tall x 2" dia (40 drams or 5 oz). There are no labels on the bottles. They have white-plastic, childproof lids that read "Tripler Army Medical Center Pharmacy Services" at no extra charge.

Eschew Plastic Bowls
Too many of them around anyway. Try this 1-1/2 qt (if filled right to the top) stainless steel bowl instead. Slope-sided, 7-1/2" dia at the top (counting the lip) and 2-1/2" deep. Pretty much your standard pooch dinner dish, but equally suitable for snacks, soup and stews around the campfire, or anything that stains plastics.

No, not a perfect machine-gun nest, but a 4-way, 7-day medication organizer. There's a small 2-3/4" x 1-3/4" x 7/16" translucent blue plastic container for each day of the week, with (4) flip-top sections marked breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime, in print and Braille. Each of the (7) containers is marked on the end with a day of the week, and they all slip snuggly into larger holder. Leave them together, or take one along each day.

Victorian Dropper
It looks as though it should be used for administering laudanum! A 1-1/4" sq x 3" tall clear glass bottle, it has thick molded sides and a heavy lip: very antique in appearance. It is stoppered with a red(!) rubber stopper which is the squeeze bulb for the glass dropper tube inside. A real eye catcher, but give it a good wash please. It clearly is not sterile.

Tough Paper Trays
And lots of ‘em. These coated paper trays are microwave-safe. In fact, they’re very much like the ones used for some commercial frozen entrees, but we draw the line at claiming they’re food-ready or food-safe. At 2" sq x 3-3/4" tall overall, this clear frosted 4.5 oz glass bottle cries out for pleasantly exotic applications: like holding perfume, or sand art, or special bath oil. See-Thru Bags
It's clear that we can't describe all of these crystal-clear vinyl bags and totes. We've seen them from 5" x 2-1/2" x 5" deep to 11" x 2-1/2" x 9" deep and in half a dozen sizes in between; with white, black and no binding; with and without handles. Most have zippers, but a few don't. The vinyl in most is similar to what is used in a makeup bag. What they all have in common is that their high quality. We'll just pick out (4) assorted styles for you and save you the anguish of the decision.

Rubber Stopper
Pat's been hanging around the medical supply house again. We now have a boatload of rubber stoppers, the kind you see on bottles of liquid medicine, crimped down with an aluminum collar. (Pat didn’t buy the aluminum collars.) The medicine is removed via a hypodermic needle through the stopper. The rubber stoppers come in blue or gray They are 3/4” across the top, 5/16” top to bottom, and fits a 1/2” (13 mm) dia opening. Why would you want them? Because they'll fit many of the small wide-mouth and slope-shouldered bottles in our Bottlemania listing. Pat's really good!

Jumbo Pillbox
So you fill this 7-day pillbox for your husband. It has extra-large, snap-top compartments 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" x 7/8" deep. Big enough for picture hooks on Sunday, so he can hang the new mirror. Carpet tacks on Monday, for the loose runner on the stairs. Rubber washers on Tuesday, for that dripping faucet....
