Heavy sleeper, are you? How about the kids? Up An At'Em® emits a stunningly annoying GHHOOOOOOOWW whine that's guaranteed to get anyone up and whimpering pathetically to turn it off. One of the loudest alarms we've ever had, it adjusts to 90, 100, or 110dB. It also functions as a clock, calendar, timer and stop watch. In a smallish, 6" x 2-1/4" x 1" blue plastic case, it has an hourglass (countdown) function, a 1-7/16" x 1/2" LCD screen, reset button, belt clip, and wrist strap. Security Bonus: yank the strap and the connecting post pulls out and sets off the emergency-alert scream. Powered by a 9V battery that you supply.

We expect every Boy Scout and former Boy Scout - the Always-Be-Prepared crowd -- to order one of these. The Jensen MR-600 AM/FM portable radio can receive 24-hour NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) weather and marine forecasts on all 7 weather band frequencies, and will sound a Storm Alert when activated by the National Weather Service. The 7" x 4-3/8" x 1-1/2" unit has a carrying strap, a 27" telescoping antenna, a battery and power indicator, a 3" speaker, and a jack for an earphone. Comes with an AC adapter, but can be powered by (4) "AA" batteries (not included).

Flashlight Cones
Yellow translucent plastic cones, 9-7/8" long OA. They were made in China to fit over a flashlight thus turning it into a warning device. They are fine for that if your flashlight has a 2-1/2" dia. business end, the ID of the large end of the cones. The small end of the cones is 7/8" dia., and may have a removable plug of the same plastic. However some of the plugs have wandered off, so the end may be open. Not into signaling?? Use them as traffic obstacles on the play lot, to mark the edge of the volleyball court at the beach, or to protect the lump on your head from rain!!
