You'll need this NATO gas mask, M51 model, in an olive drab canvas bag. Lightly used surplus, it includes a definitely-not-guaranteed cartridge filter. Adjustable mask is medium olive drab/brown. The cartridge screws directly into it below the nose, so it's the symmetrical, alien-look, type. Carrying bag measures approx 12" long x 5" x 5" plus shoulder strap and ring clips. Great for Halloween.

It's from the Chinese army, it holds ammunition and it's called a vest but it's not a vest, it's an ammo belt with shoulder straps. Belt is approx 40" long overall and can be adjusted to be shorter. Has (3) sets of (2) flapped pockets, each 6" tall x 2" wide plus a third set with (4) flapped loops and open-top pockets below to hold longer clips. Straps measure 1-1/8" wide and cross in the back. In deep OD canvas, gently used. Made in China, which is hard to argue with in this case. Be the first guy in your duck blind to have one.

Our full-size, lightly used, nylon parachutes in assorted colors (Mostly red to pink, our choice.) are approximately 23-foot diameter canopy with cut corner edges and shroud lines attached. And it's for making lovely diaphanous silky things, or turning your family room ceiling into a Turkish bazaar, or creating a unique, shade-casting pergola in your backyard, or even for playing games at camp. It's not, ever, under any circumstances, over-your-dead-body, for jumping out of airplanes. Never, ever, OK? Weighs a diaphanous 6.5 lbs, and has a nice hanging loop at the top for making those tent-like structures.

This is actually called a rubber sink by the U.S. gummint, made for army field use, and it really is very useful. The olive-drab rubber, 9" dia x 4-1/2" deep, holds approx (1) gallon when full, but folds up completely. It's just a touch small to call a sink, we think, but it's a perfect portable dog waterer. (Also a large, very unattractive rain hat.) Complete with a tab to hang it from.

Assembled in the U.S. from Russian parts, anyway. What we have here is a gas mask for children, although frankly, the smallest of them are really more Yorkshire-terrier sized. New, but surplus, and while they're rated NBC for nuclear/biological/chemical contaminants, they carry absolutely no guarantees. These are to be used as part of a collection, or for costume/novelty purposes. These adult masks come with an integrated, screw-on filter canister, carrying pouch, and (6) plastic eye-lens covers. The medium ones are for adults with a facial circumference (measure around the crown of the head and under the chin) between 25” and 25-3/4”.

Own a large coil of World War II-era tent rope. We know it's real army surplus from the military warehouse aura that surrounds it. This is genuine 1/8" dia hemp rope manufactured for the U.S. Army by the Burnham Co., of Gloucester, Mass. You'll get approx 400 feet of it.

What every well-dressed WWII-era American Civil Defense worker was wearing. In a lightly speckled cream/tan color, the steel helmet is a 13" x 11" oval around the rim with a 9" x 7-1/2" ID, adjustable canvas straps inside it, and a chin strap. Sits approx 6" tall on the head. Yours might even have a few authentic Civil Defense rust spots at no extra charge.

Our very first two-passenger military-surplus field latrine! Relive those golden moments spent sitting over a slit trench in the woods with a friend. This new (no need to thank us) genuine WWII-era U.S. Army wooden latrine is painted olive drab, weighs 37 lbs, and measures 41" long x 17" x 19-1/2" high. The 18" x 14" flip-up lids are over a pair of toilet-seat-shaped openings above the open bottom. Folds flat for storage and transport. All you add is the trench. We're thinking storage bench/conversation piece for the front hall or mud room.

This emergency beacon is retired from the West German army where it was one of the breakdown lights carried by army trucks in convoy, but if you buy it (5) standard D-Cell batteries it will go right back to work. The pivoting lens switches between steady-on white, off, and flashing amber modes. Stands just under 8" tall, with a 4-3/8" dia, 10-sided, orange-and-white plastic body, and a rubber base. Also has (2) 3/8" dia pegs to which you could attach a strap if you made one.

Put out Belgian fires authentically with one of these genuine fire-brigade buckets from Belgium, dating from the middle of the 20th century. All of them are heavy steel, painted fire-engine rouge, and bear the scars and dents of having attended a few incendies. We'll pick one from 11" to 14" tall (they all hold a couple of gallons). Some may have dates stamped into them, all of them are as authentic as you can get!

Search for zlotys on the beach, or just be the first militaria collector on your block with a USSR-era Polish army surplus mine detector. (That's a Polski armia nadwy?ka möj wykrywacz, we think.) Comes complete with (8) feet of pipe (in 2-foot sections) for getting farther from the mines, a 5-foot cord on the headphones, a log-book, a canvas carrying pouch, and a small box wrench. The downside? It's battery operated (and may even come with one or two dead ones) but not by batteries in any size we recognize, so making it operable could be a challenge.
