Which apparently means "Road Closed" in Germany. It's 21" long OA, a 15/16" dia wooden handle with a 6" dia reflective metal disk on the end, white with a red circle on the perimeter. Like a miniature version of the lollipop lady (crossing guard) signs in the UK. Take it out and stop Audis in their tracks, or use it as a target, group leader signal, or as an emergency canoe paddle.

Direct from the U.S. Army, this desert-tan nylon pouch was made to hold a 2-qt non-sloshing bladder canteen. So authentic that it probably will have the original stenciling and user's name on it. Has a plastic latch, belt clips, an adjustable and detachable 42" shoulder strap. The cushy fake-fur lining insulates it in the winter. Wet the lining for a cooling effect in hot weather. Measures 8-1/4" x 7" x 3" with a little 3" x 2-1/4" pocket on the front. (Water purification tablets?) Don't carry water? It'd make a nice, warm traveling gerbil habitat. (There's even a drain hole in the bottom.)

Commemorate D-Day the next time June 6th rolls around by adding these British army barbed-wire cutters to your WWII memorabilia. Wire cutters have come a long way since Operation Overlord, but these black-painted steel snips, military surplus from the Brits, give you a real feel for the landings on Sword, Juno and Gold beaches. Black-painted steel, 10-3/4" long folded but with extension arms that unfold to 15", they boast, among other things, reinforced jaws, a ring for hanging them from a pistol belt, and plenty of honest wear.

Direct from the French army, these giant steel tent stakes are scary big. They're T-bars approx 2 feet long x 1-5/8", tapered at one end. A pair of 7/8" dia rods extends 2-3/4" from each side near the top. Large enough for circus tents, or driving through the heart of a really large robotic vampire.

New surplus from the other side of the Rhine. Nice dark-olive-drab plastic case, 8-1/2" x 8" x 4-1/2" with a slip-on lid on a removable canvas strap. Inside is a pair of 1-liter bottles, 7" tall x 3-1/2" square, with screw caps that have white nylon brushes on 4" long shafts inside. If you're not into military decontamination, it's ideal for traveling sign-painters.

One Type A-1 Sleeve-Tow Target Release. Part Number 49D7600. This 3-legged, 8" long steel frame has a small ring at the connect-to-the-plane end, and an 8" dia steel ring at the other. Stitched firmly to the ring is a 15" long fabric wind sock made to trail behind it. Originally used to pull a target drone behind U.S. military aircraft. Now a candidate for a funky hanging light fixture, with or without the wind sock with its warehouse wear and tear.

made easy. Nothing to it with our 1950's-era take-out sight from an 85mm Chinese cannon. Measures 16" long x 6-7/8" tall x 5" wide overall, with an adjustable forehead pad, gasketed eyepiece, vertical and horizontal calibration screws, (3) different vertical reticles and a ratcheting adjustable horizontal reticle. Has a 2" OD ratcheting mount on the bottom. Sorry: no cannon to mount it on (unless maybe you know a guy in the Chinese artillery) but extremely cool anyway, and ready for a punkin' chunkin' app.
