Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Enjoy!

From the HEXBUG™ collection of micro-bots: Pick the Original HEXBUG, a little six-legged cutie that scrambles around, and reacts to loud sounds and physical obstacles by changing direction. Or pick the HEXBUG Crab, a mesmerizing creature that runs from the light and hides in the dark, reacts to loud sounds, and changes directions at preprogrammed intervals. In assorted translucent colors (we'll pick), with replaceable button-cell batteries included. Both are approx 2" x 1-3/4".

Well, a pair, but that's a lot in the tank biz. This very cool kit has translucent green plastic frames, pre-wired circuit boards and motor harnesses, and the result, despite the kit's misleading Titan Tank name, is TWO 5" square x 3" tall wireless remote-control tanks (with separate controllers) that fire invisible infrared bullets at each other, and reverse direction when hit. Plus, they light up and make tank noises. Each controller has (4) channels, so if you buy (2) sets of (2), everybody can play. Each tank will take (8) "AA" batteries that you'll supply, but remember that they light up and shoot rays and make noise and move around, so you're getting a lot of bang for your battery. Includes a 15pp manual and circuit boards that are already assembled, so anyone with a steady hand from, say, a nine-year-old to a WWII tank commander, should be able to assemble them.

What we have here is the guts of a solid-state light tube that uses LED to mimic neon. The (30) LEDs are evenly spaced on a 12" long x 5/16" wide PCB board. Takes 24VDC, draws about 60mA, and glows a very pretty red. The manufacturer had intended to put this into a standard, 19mm, glass tube for use as accent lighting, but now you'll have a pair of them, and can do whatever your heart desires with them.

Made as a repair kit for Xerox® drive motors (kit part #600K24560), these (3) white plastic gears are crying out for a home in someone's robotics lab. The largest is 1-1/2" thick OA with an 8mm bore. The gear is 1-7/8" dia with 46 teeth/24 pitch, the spindle is 1-1/16" dia with 25 teeth/24 pitch. The middle one is 3/4" thick OA with a 6mm bore. That gear is 1-5/8" dia with 74 teeth/48 pitch, the spindle is 11/16" dia with 15 teeth/24 pitch. The smallest is 1-5/16" thick OA with a 6mm bore. The gear is 1-1/4" dia with 38 teeth/32 pitch, the spindle is 7/8" dia with 21 teeth/24 pitch.

Just plug this set of 2-contact flat molded connectors into each other. (Each one has both a male and a female port.) Yes, they're on opposite ends of 10" long red and black, 16-2 AWG leads, but that's just a device to keep them together. When you're ready to hook them up, just clip those leads and get each end wired. You'll get a pack of (2) complete sets, perfect for hobbyists, tinkerers, and electronic DIYers.
