Linear Actuator
New linear actuator from Von Weise®, made for sliding camper sections, has a motor approx 6-1/2" x 3" x 6-1/2" overall. Draws 11A at 12VDC under load, 1.25A no load, and spins approx 150 rpm. Has 4" leads with a 2-pin connection. Output is through a 3/4" dia threaded rod inside a 1-3/8" dia steel pipe. You pick from the short version, a 33-3/4" long pipe (37" long over all); the medium, a 35-1/2" pipe (38" long over all); or the long, a 41" pipe (44" long over all). All have approx 30" stroke.

Clip Lead Set
Ten electrical leads with an alligator clip on each end. Each lead is about 20" long, not counting the 'gators. Vinyl coated 20-22 ga. wire with a vinyl cover over each clip. They come in an assortment of five colors with two leads in each color. The manufacturer calls them heavy duty but we would restrict them to the light currents and low voltages you will be using in your home experiments. Our each is a set of (10).

Extremely Itsy LEDs On A String
You get 35 (which is almost (3) dozen, after all) little bitsy beads of light on a 6-foot long, 2-strand copper wire. As small as incandescent grain-of-wheat lights, these LEDs are powered by (3) "AA" batteries in a 3-1/2" x 2" x 3/4" thick plastic battery pack. A single push-button switch controls off/slow blink/fast blink/steady on, to meet your most festive needs. You pick red, green or white. You also buy the batteries.

Quickly He Turned…
This diminutive 6VDC Mabuchi motor draws 100 mA, approx 500mA at stall, and spins at approx 1240 rpm. The striated shaft is 1/2" long x 3/32" dia, in a housing that measures 1-3/16" x 1" dia. You get three for one great price for your science fair project, moving display, or latest invention.

Micro-Motor
The Stephen Douglas of motors, our little giant, only 1" long x 15/32" x just over 3/8", spins at approx 45rpm. Size includes the all-metal gearbox (but not the 3/8" long x 1/8" dia flattened shaft). The 6VDC motor with a 298:1ratio draws approx 5mA and stalls at 50mA.

AIRCRAFT CABLE
Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Just A Simple Solenoid
This take-out solenoid valve is a simple open/closed solenoid valve that is normally closed. It draws 100mA at 12VDC. Has 3/16" OD inlet and outlet at right angles to each other. Housing measures 1-3/16" long x 15/16" dia with terminals at the back end.

Big and Rechargeable

Build A Better Battery Pack
Our each is (4) of the blue plastic "D" Cell modular battery holders, approx 3-3/8" x 1-7/16" x 1-1/8" deep without tabs. They slide together either side-to-side or end-to-end or any combination of both, with connecting tabs in both directions. Can be wired parallel or in series. Open tops. Interesting possibilities.

Put A Little Spring In Your Step
Easy to put a little spring in your step or anyplace else when you have this collection of (200) little zinc-plated steel springs. You get (20) sizes in all, including (76) compression springs in assorted sizes between 7/32" x 11/16" and 3/8" x 3/4" and (124) extension springs between 5/32" x 3-1/8" and 11/32" x 1-27/32". They come sorted, in a nice snap-shut and hang-up-able translucent plastic case.
