Be a walking LED message board. Those nametags with just your name are soooo 20th century. Our LED Moving Name Tag is 4" across x 1-5/8" high in plastic, with a 3-1/2" long x approx 3/4" high red LED screen that scrolls up to six messages. You can adjust the scrolling speed and program (1) message of 512 characters, and (5) of 256 characters. Runs on two lithium batteries (included, along with a spare set) and sticks tight to your lapel or pocket with a pin.

Rotary Solenoid
Means "pipe-shaped," by the way, does "solenoid." (The French made it up, from the Greek. Just thought you might be curious.) This version is small, measuring 1-1/8" dia x 3/8" thick, with a flattened shaft. The shaft rotates approx 20 degrees ccw. Draws 250mA at 24VDC (fires at 18 VDC). Two mounting bolts, 5/16" long x 1/16" - 48, are alongside the shaft, and it has (2) 5" leads and a 2-pin Molex connector.

Solid Rubber Wheels
Hard, black rubber, 3" dia x 1-5/8" wide, with an axle bearing and a 3/8" ID. These wheels have been used a bit, so the treadless surfaces might be a touch scuffed up. Plenty of revolutions left in them, though.

Losin' Juice?
Or usin' it up? This nice solar cell is made to prevent battery drain in cars, boats, snowmobiles (or anything else with a 12-volt) during storage or because you're running stuff like cell phones, laptops, or various pods off of said battery. Small Is Beautiful
And this little 6-12VDC new gear motor is a stunner. Made for a telescope drive, it draws approx 100mA and spins approx 5 rpm at 12VDC. Has a 5/16" dia, 16-tooth sprocket on a 5/8" long shaft and is 2-7/16" x 1-7/8" x 2-5/8" OA. The gearbox ratio is approx 100:1. Has a short (3") 2-pin jumper for power and the stall current at 12VDC is 2A.

Tough Guy Motor
With a switch. They made this strong little reversible DC motor (stall current at 12VDC is a whopping 15A) for an auto vacuum cleaner, which is why it's wired to a 15-foot cord with a cigarette-lighter adapter. Operates from 6-12VDC with max performance at 12VDC, 10,000 rpm at 2A. Measures approx 2-3/4" long x 1-7/8" dia with a removable plastic housing, plus a 3/16" x 1-1/4" threaded shaft with a 3/16-32 thread for the last 5/16". Has a hard-wired thermister between the momentary switch and motor.

Nifty Plastic Gear Set
Made as a repair kit for Xerox® drive motors (kit part #600K24560), these (3) white plastic gears are crying out for a home in someone's robotics lab. The largest is 1-1/2" thick OA with an 8mm bore. The gear is 1-7/8" dia with 46 teeth/24 pitch, the spindle is 1-1/16" dia with 25 teeth/24 pitch. The middle one is 3/4" thick OA with a 6mm bore. That gear is 1-5/8" dia with 74 teeth/48 pitch, the spindle is 11/16" dia with 15 teeth/24 pitch. The smallest is 1-5/16" thick OA with a 6mm bore. The gear is 1-1/4" dia with 38 teeth/32 pitch, the spindle is 7/8" dia with 21 teeth/24 pitch.
