We have given some to our telescope supplier, who is an expert in such matters, and he says it is the best he has ever seen. You can even clean painted and metal surfaces. Finger Exerciser
Called the "Hand Grip," this odd little massager/squeeze box thingy provides, according to the manufacturer, "comfort to shoulder" among other things. We don't know about that, but it's perfect for exercising/strengthening a grip, particularly one finger at a time. We'd prescribe it after carpal tunnel surgery, for broken digit rehab, or for guitar players looking to power-up the pinky for those low-on-the-neck blues riffs. It's 2-3/8" long x 1-1/2" dia, with little bumps on both ends.

It doesn't say that on the box, but that's what we're using it for around here because we're tired of surprises. It's a slightly convex 2-3/8" x 2" plastic mirror with a ball-and-socket joint (4-1/8" tall OA) with a self-adhesive strip to mount it where you can see people who have no business sneaking up on you in the first place, OK? Includes a little clip on the back to hold notes.

Scope This Out
Because it's one excellent spotting scope from Celestron®. A Maksutov-Cassegrain design with multi-coated optics, it has a 65mm dia aperture and 30-90X magnification. It comes with a tabletop tripod that adjusts from 9-1/2" to 12-1/2" tall, and has fine-tuning knobs for horizontal and vertical angles. The scope itself, with an image-erect 45-degree eyepiece, weighs just over a pound and measures 3-1/8" dia x 8-3/4". Comes in a very nice black, soft carrying case with a shoulder strap, a hook-and-loop closure, and a handy chamois tucked inside.

All are very interesting, and a few colors really pop under ordinary blacklight -- but we have to admit that today's fluorescent paints and laser shows have spoiled us for the more subtle glow of a rock. Walking sticks have moved into the space age! This walker's/hiker's friend has futuristic features and the look of an inter-galactic weapon.
