Cable Ties
Very handy strap-like fastening devices with grooves or slots along their length and a clamping head at one end. Slip one around the things to be bundled, feed the free end through the clamp and pull tight. The grooves act like a ratchet in the clamp; the tighter you pull, the tighter it holds. They are a great non-rotting securing device for camping gear, sails, hanging signs, and, of course for bundling wires.

Brass Hooks
Brass L-shaped shoulder hooks (Why aren't they elbow hooks?) are handy to have around. Each has a thread about half as long as the hook itself, and a small plate that fits against the wall. You get (2) packages, for a total of (6) 1" hooks, or (4) 1-1/2" hooks.

A Painful Choice
A thumbscrew, if you have an enemy with fat thumbs -- a thumbscrew-style hose clamp, if not. Metal, adjustable between 3/4" and 1-1/2". We suggest that this would be a good time to fix that leaky hose, before your wife starts eyeing your diphalangal digits.

This Is For The Birds
And it's ready to assemble. Just add glue and paint and this 6" tall snowman-theme wren house, 4" square OA, is ready to hang on a tree with the little piece of twine that's thoughtfully included. No instructions, but it's pretty obvious. Optical illusion bonus: considered from the side, before it's painted, it looks like a hamster begging for a nut.

The Codger's First Carving Set
Don't just sit on the porch, carve something.
