Dwarf Hammer
Even Grumpy would be happy if he had this very cool, stub-handled claw hammer to work with. It packs the punch of a 10-oz hammer, but is only 6" long overall, so it fits nicely in a sleepy cottage in the forest - or a studio apartment, emergency toolbox, or kitchen drawer. It's ideal for crafts, picture hanging and other dopey little jobs, but we wouldn't be bashful about using it for any hammer-type task. Drop-forged steel head a little (4-1/2" head to claw), but they gave it a heavy-duty frame, a contoured rubber grip, and a small magnet in the head for starting brads and nails. And we gave it a price that's nothing to sneezy at.

Foolproof Carbide
Our hand-held knife and scissors sharpener has a pair of tungsten carbide heads pre-set at the correct angle for keeping an edge on things. Just rest the blade in the notch and pull. Want To Throw In The Trowel?
This one's easier to toss, cuz it folds in half. Johnny Appleseed would have carried one of these if he'd had our web address. Our folding garden trowel is a 5-3/4" x 2-1/8" when inside its black canvas belt carrier, but opens and locks to 8-7/8" long. All stainless steel, so there are no rust problems for you itinerant gardeners.

Go ahead. If you've got your glow-in-the-dark compass with you, you can find your way back without having to grope around trying to feel the moss on the north side of the trees. In brass, 2" dia x 1/2" thick, with a bezel with 2-degree increments and a 13/16" dia hook on top.

Military Mystery Bag
Could very well be for a gas mask, but that's just a guess, and we know not from whose military. Interesting, though, and rubberized for your protection. It's olive drab, 9-1/2" x 11" x 4", with hook-and-loop belt fasteners. The belt fasteners are oriented so that there's an 8" x 10" snap-flap pocket on the front, a fold-over closure for the bag itself on one short side with a hook-and-loop catch against the body, and a 4" x 6" pocket with hook-and-loop closure on the opposite short side. Good deal if you need to keep stuff dry. Even better after a few hours in the sun and a good spray with a fabric freshener.

It's 30" long overall, with (82) spring-steel teeth on the 18-1/2" middle section, and canvas loop handles on each end. Imagine a cross between a sharpened bike chain and a garotte. It's easy to use (we tested it), works a whole lot faster than a hatchet, rolls up into no space at all, and stores in the heavy-duty canvas belt pouch that comes with it.
