Marble Slabettes
Marble bases with small imperfections. But hey, who among us doesn't have a few? Made from a beautiful white marble, they were intended as trophy bases but can be used to display art, small science projects, etc. They are 3" X 3" X 3/4" thick and some boast soothing cork bottoms to protect the furniture. Made in Italy.

Mylar Warmth
They have the look of something designed for the space program. They're mylar, a paper-thin shiny metallic sheet, that comes in handy when your car breaks down in winter, or when you're separated from your climbing group on the slopes of Mt. McKinley. Barring that, they're also a perfect material for a do-it-yourself cold-climate Halloween costume-near impossible to rip by hand, but cut easily with scissors. There's no padding, so they wouldn't be too comfy on your bed, but they sure are warm. They both come folded about the size of a wallet. The Blanket is 52" x 82", the Sleeping Bag is 34" x 84".

Clamp Champs
A champion way to clamp down on damage caused by your clamping. Smooth self–adhesive disks and pads that stick to the jaws of the clamp; protects wood, glass, ceramic and other delicate clampable material from being marked when the clamp is applied. Available in a circular size for C–clamps, vises, and the like. Also fine for protecting from furniture/floor damage, a la foam pads. 1/16” thick plastic, with 1/32” thick adhesive foam backing. Circles come in a diameter of 7/8” ((8) per package).

First Surface Mirrors
Optical imaging folk insist that their reflective surfaces be on top of the glass, because an optically minor “ghost” is created with back surface mirrors. These “First Surface” optical mirrors generally also have better glass and flatter surfaces than their household brethren. Delicate, with the fragile reflective surface exposed, they carry the prices that precision demands. If you are playing with lasers, photography or optical alignment, the first surface items below are what you need. Dimensions are included in the description as width x length x thickness, all in mm.

Zillions of little bottles. Renegades from a pharmaceutical company, leftover unfilled from runs of exotic we-know-not-what. We have divided them into three basic shapes: A, Narrow Mouth, h (Narr Mo) have a 10mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 13mm dia. 3mm rim and a 7mm dia. opening; B, Wide Mouth, (Wide Mo) have a 16mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 19mm dia. x 3mm rim and a 12 or 13mm dia opening; C, Sloped Shoulder, (Sl Sh) have roughly 5-6mm long neck that tapers from the soft shoulder to 15mm dia, with a 19mm dia x 3mm rim and a 12-13mm dia. opening. Height refers to height overall, and dia. to the body dia. in the table below. Great items for the doll house (for kids old enough not to swallow them), to hold tiny wild flowers, for decorative art work, individual cruets, or just to hold and marvel at. All quite sturdy glass. In the real world, you would pay from $75 (smallest) to $225 (biggest) for 288 of these, which is the smallest quantity you could get!! Narrow mouth bottles take a #00 cork. Liddle Ladder
The instructions with this chrome-plated ladder thing 2-1/8" x 24" long say you wire flowers to it or poke fabric through it to make a garland, but it's cooler than that. Slightly curved, with 1" between rungs, it's a natural for a hamster ladder. On its side, it's a great fence for a toy zoo. Slick chrome kitchen? Hang it with drying herbs. Laid belly-down, it sits there and rocks and amuses you - but then, we're very easily amused.

Lab Stand
Affordable, adaptable lab equipment for serious scientists with laughable budgets. The basic stand is heavy black metal 8" long x 5" wide x 1" high with a 19-1/2" x 3/8" dia support rod screwed into it. Position a beaker or bunsen burner on the stand and build the configuration you need above it. Both of the Burette clamps and the ring attach to the rod with thumbscrew clamps. The Burette clamps have wing nuts so they can be adjusted to any angle. The single clamp extends 4" from the rod, with rounded, uncoated, adjustable metal jaws with spring tension and a wing nut. The double clamp like it has rubber-coated jaws. The 3" metal support ring holds the 6" x 6" heavy-gauge steel-mesh burner screen with crimped edges. Nice, solid equipment at a rare price.

Sheets Of Pseudo Silver
Surplus - with a silver lining! We have almost half a hundred rolls of 18-1/2" wide mylar film, the shiny side printed with a variety of balloon designs - happy birthday, happy retirement, happy other things - and a matte silver finish on the other (picture the two sides of aluminum foil).
