They have the look of something designed for the space program. They're mylar, a paper-thin shiny metallic sheet, that comes in handy when your car breaks down in winter, or when you're separated from your climbing group on the slopes of Mt. McKinley. Barring that, they're also a perfect material for a do-it-yourself cold-climate Halloween costume-near impossible to rip by hand, but cut easily with scissors. There's no padding, so they wouldn't be too comfy on your bed, but they sure are warm. They both come folded about the size of a wallet. The Blanket is 52" x 82", the Sleeping Bag is 34" x 84".

Campers put these pads under their sleeping bags to insulate themselves thermally and ergonomically from the hard cruel ground. They call them "Insulite" which sounds like a brand name and they are military grade. We don't know if the items we have are seconds from that company or somewhere else, but we can't tell the difference. They are at least 20" x 60" and are 3/8" thick dense foam rubber. We have light blue, dark blue khaki/green and mauve/purple, from which we shall pick your purchase. One side is glossy with more closed pores than the other. We have used them, and they are great! Feather light too at only 20 oz. Good as light duty tumbling or exercise mats as well.

For the shaving kit, the campground or the kids, nothing says no nasty glass shards like plexiglass. This unframed, unbreakable, back-surfaced mirror is 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 3/32" thick.

You might start with this. Or not. Frankly, we know it's a take-out, we just don't know what it was taken out of. It's got a big pair (7" long, U-shaped) of ceramic heating elements, mounted on a 5-1/2" L-shaped aluminum bracket with (4) heat switches wired in series before and after each element. It says it's rated 113°C at 12VDC. Each element draws approx 6A and the maximum temperature would be approx 600°-700°F. Switches are NC.

They'll see the dog (or you) coming a block away with this black-canvas pet collar. It features a neon-green reflective section nearly the entire length of the collar with flashing red LEDs inside. Works great on the pooch, but would be just as useful strapped around a bike-rider's arm or leg. It’s 16" long (tightening down to 12") OA x 1" wide; each has a black plastic buckle, on/off push button, and a small D-ring near the middle for a leash. The LEDs flash approx 2X/sec and there's a small pouch that holds a tiny PC board and replaceable button cell battery. The package may or may not call it a "leash." Pay no attention.

Couldn't tell it from the glass variety by just looking. This plastic mirror with rounded corners measures 3-15/16" x 5-15/16". Comes with protective film on both sides. We're thinking kids, camping, or just an unbreakable travel item. Pretty flexible, too, if you like fun-house mirror effects.

Convert large water jugs into dispensers. This manual bellows-type water pump has an 18" (in two 9" pieces) x 7/16" ID inlet tube, a 5-1/2" long bent spigot, and comes with a small bottle brush for cleaning. The bottom of the pump fits many water jugs, with a split-flange coupling that's approx 2-3/8 ID and tightens down for a near-airtight fit. The unit is 4-3/4" dia x 9-1/2" tall OA in gray and blue plastic.
