Bright & Tight
We never metatarsal we didn’t like, so we bought some beautiful, bright elastic strapping to replace those dull stretchy bandage wraps. Or to be used in 100 other ways. Beautiful solid colors, including green, red, black, blue, yellow, pink, purple, beige and brown, plus some rainbows and plaids. The 1” wide strap is a flat, 1/8” thick braid. The other sizes of tight elastic fabric are approx 1/16” thick, with finished edges and a reasonable amount of give. You get (3) 10–foot pieces. You pick the width, we pick the colors.

Ace WAS The Place...
Now A.S.&S. is the place! The place, that is, where you can find Ace Hardware packs of Teflon® Glides, their easy-to-slide furniture feet. All are low-friction gray slides 3/8” to 1/4” thick, made for use on most floor surfaces. The 7/8” dia nail style can be driven into the bottom of a furniture leg. The 3” long x 5/8” wide bars have self-adhesive backs that attach to solid bases. You choose adhesive pads, screws or both, for all of the others (both are provided). Our each is a set of (4).

A Working Wonder
If we had a category just for customers who lust after Jules Verne inventions and elegant gadgetry, this would be in it. The wonderful brass sundial, a reproduction of an antique, is approx 3" dia x 11/16" thick overall, and actually works! A latitudinal gauge lets you tilt the engraved dial to the correct angle for your location, and a bubble and three leveling feet allow the 1-1/2" dia lock-down compass to point in the precise direction. And if you never took it out into the sunshine, you'd still love it for the look and logic of it.

Tiny Table Lamp
On tiny tables or the desktop, this lamp throws a nice puddle of light for its size. The 4-1/4" x 3" x 1-1/2" tall base supports an 8" long gooseneck with (14) bright white LEDs at the top. Silver-plastic and chrome, with a pushbutton switch on the base, it comes with (3) "AAA" batteries. We're putting ours on top of the dresser so maybe we'll finally be able to tell what color socks we're taking out of the top drawer, but it would make a nice little reading or camping lamp. Should give 15 hours of light with fresh batteries.
