Terra Cotta Chinese Army
These are very nice miniature replicas of (4) different Chinese terra cotta warriors, modeled on the army unearthed at Xi'an. Ours are 2-1/2" tall, except for the kneeling figure, who's shorter, of course, because he's on his knees. Granted, if you're planning to replicate the 8,099 soldiers in the original you'll need a substantial order (which, as of this writing, we could fill), but even a few dozen would be mighty impressive lined up on the coffee table.

Substantial Chess Board
Nice. Made from thick composition board, it's 15-1/2" sq x 5/8" thick with black and pearly grey squares, non-slip feet at the corners, and a 1-1/8" wide x 3/8" high border, in case you slip. Bonus: it does not come with the too-cutesy woodland chess pieces it was made for, which means you don't have to throw away the toadstool pawns. Good, of course, for checkers, too. Originally $19.95.
