Mini-Monster Prism
Optical grade unsilvered glass prism from Uncle's WWII tank periscopes. This one is 2-1/8" on the hypotenuse, 5-3/4" long, and 1-1/2" on each leg. They may come with small non-interfering chips or surface scratches. Great for classroom experiments or for art projects. Swinging Balls
The classic swinging balls, to amuse you on slow days in the office or physics lab, and to demonstrate Newton's Third Law. Drop one of the five hanging balls, one flies out from the other end; drop two and two fly out; drop three and it's amazing. The balls are set in a 7" x 9" x 9" high wooden frame. Isaac didn't invent these mesmerizing toys, by the way. That took Simon Prebble (whom some of you may remember as the evil Martin Chedwyn on "As the World Turns") who had an energy transference inspiration in 1967. (Where else can one learn these things?)

Diamond point bits that, if used by your dentist would send you through the roof. The assortment of bits includes cylinders, cones (points), balls and a couple of special shapes all in a variety of sizes. In the set of (20), each has 3/32" dia. shank and is about 2-3/4" long OA. In the set of (10), each has a 1/8" dia. shank and is about 1-3/4" long OA, with larger size bit heads. Both come in plastic cases. A craftsperson's delight!!

Power Tool Pads
Power Wool(tm) pads from NicSand were made to fit 5" disc sanders and 8-hole vacuum sanders, but we like them as steel wool pads that happen to be self-adhesive. There are (3) 5" pads in each pack. Each pad has (8) holes in it. The cleaning and stripping pads for metal and painted/varnished/urethaned surfaces are an extra-fine "0" grade. For smoothing and deglossing between coats, they are an ultra-fine "00" grade. For finishing and polishing the coated finishes, a micro-fine "0000" grade. Nice quality. Made in the U.S.A.

Scope Your Stethos!!
Stethos is Greek for chest. Indeed you can scope your stethos with this stethoscope, or your friend's or your dog's. But it works equally well for picking up any sound being transmitted through a solid medium. Listen to the air flowing through the heating ducts, the water in the pipes, the sounds of machinery, the termites munching on the floor joists!! The color does vary so we will select from what's currently available. We've had blue, teal, red, black, burgandy, green and purple, but there may be other colors yet to be seen! A great discovery device whether for biology or other pursuits. Not of professional quality, but not just a toy.

Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

Peekaboo Canisters
Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. When a set of a dozen contains lavender, red and 10 other colors, it’s cool to the max. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. An ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display, anodized tins in great colors come in a set of (12) 2” dia x 7/8” deep.
