Ouch!
Looks like a cheap kid-sized tennis racket, but brother, this ain't for the kids. It's actually a fine way for adults to work on their upper-body strength and kill bugs at the same time. 18" long, with a 6" wide paddle lined with metal grid. A coil in the handle sends high voltage through the paddle when a button is pushed; hit a bug with it and the bug will bug you no more. But despite the manufacturer's claims that it's safe for people, Scott reports that flesh-paddle contact delivers a nasty shock, nasty enough to say "Keep this away from kids!" We've seen these in other catalogs for about twice the price, so buy it from us. Just be careful with it. 2 AA batteries, not included.

Electronic Plant Monitoring
You can’t trust nature (it’s red in tooth and claw, remember?) but you can monitor its effect on plants with either of these electronic meters. The pH meter has a 7-1/2" long metal probe with a 1-5/8” x 3/4” ballistic meter on top that displays pH from 3 to 10. The 3-in-1 meter is the same size but with a switchable meter to measure pH, light or moisture. No batteries: it works via chemical reaction to different metals (either that or it’s magic).

Assorted Beads
Glass beads, German, 0.055" diameter, the kind you glue on to for a sparkly finish. These do not have holes in them. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz. Ours come in little baggies, but you only have to pay $.875 per oz. And you don't have to choose a color, because we're sending you (10) 1 ounce packages, which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors from a selection of orange, yellow, aqua, green, blue, bright blue, lavender, pink, fuchsia, purple and black.

Tiny Vibes
From our smallest mini-motor ever. This miniscule motorette is the (unused) vibrator from a pager, and it comes in at a teensy 1/2" long x 3/16" square, including the 1/8" long cam shaft that makes it vibrate in the first place. Has a little rubber jacket and (2) leads. Speed? Something like 1.5K rpm at the bottom end. Add a vibrating function to the device of your choice, double the rattle in something, or create your very own vibrating robotic cockroach.

So you fill this 7-day pillbox for your husband. It has extra-large, snap-top compartments 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" x 7/8" deep. Big enough for picture hooks on Sunday, so he can hang the new mirror.
