Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

Krazy Like a Foks
They call it the "Krazy Cutter" and it's going to make your life a whole bunch easier. It's a little 2-3/8" long x 3/16" thick teardrop-shaped paper slicer with a teensy rust- and dullness-proof ceramic blade that magically cuts through paper and plastic. Perfect for clipping newsprint, cutting wrapping paper, and opening deviously sealed packaging, including the heavy stuff if you press a bit. Even CD cases. The krazy part? Won't cut your fingers or anything else. You could run it right over your hand, press down and everything, and nothing. Really. We tried it on some expendable employees. You know what this means? You can take it on airplanes, which further means that when you get to the coast you'll actually be able to open all the packages full of the stuff you sent ahead.

Helping Hands... and Eyes
We just wish there was something, anything, to do around here that required this thing, on account of it's so cool. Our newest Helping Hand has a pair of alligator clips on swiveling arms, likewise a 2-1/4" dia x 1.5X magnifier plus an LED flashlight on a gooseneck. Everything swivels every way there is and tightens with little thumbscrews-and some of the configurations look like it's maybe alive, and from Venus. Jewelry makers? Diamond cutters? Forensic scientists? Maybe we'll start making small electronics, or tying flies.

The $10 Chain Saw
No gas or electricity needed for this pocket-sized manual chain saw, the camper's pal. It's 30" long overall, with (82) spring-steel teeth on the 18-1/2" middle section, and canvas loop handles on each end. Imagine a cross between a sharpened bike chain and a garotte. It's easy to use (we tested it), works a whole lot faster than a hatchet, rolls up into no space at all, and stores in the heavy-duty canvas belt pouch that comes with it.

Need A Hand With That?
You've come to the right place. Our illuminated, magnifying helping hand even has a stand to hold a soldering iron. On a 2-1/4" x 2-1/2" cast iron base with a small-parts well, it has a sliding arm on a ball-joint with (2) alligator clips that move on (2) axes. On a second rotating ball-joint arm is a generous 3-14" dia 2X magnifier with a 6X inset lens and a pair of white LEDS. More like (3) helping hands than (1).

Teensy Holes
That's all these mega-clever picture hangers make in your drywall or paneling. Will even fit in narrow grout spaces on a tiled wall (might be wise to use a very small drill bit first). Just push the angled point of this J-shaped hook through the drywall and let the curve glide the 3-5/8" long back up against back of the wall. You're left with a small 1/2" x 3/8" hook that will hold up to 40 lbs. Tired of the picture? Just back the hook out and all you have is a hole the diameter of a wire. Call it the Renter's Friend. Lenses, Plus
Nice oblong, snap-shut case holds a removable screw-top contact-lens case, and has a mirror inside the top to help you stick those lenses on your own personal eyeballs. Take out the lens case and it makes a nice pill-box, 2-5/8" long x 1-1/2" x 7/8" thick. Lids are in assorted patterns and colors. We'll pick (2) different, as long as the assortment holds out.
