Jewelers' Shrinks
Jewelers with a screw loose turn to these for a fix. They are the little Phillips and Flathead screwdrivers that one holds twixt thumb and fingers, save the index finger which rests on a swivel on the end to guide the tool with precision. The set of (6) comes in a plastic case with a clear plastic snap cover and includes Flat head blade widths: 1.4, 1.8, 2.4, and 3.0 mm and Phillips #0 and #1. So tighten up all the little things that cause undue stress in your life!!

Pull, Pull, Pull Your Boat
A couple of pulleys just ready to be combined into the block and tackle you need for tiny jobs, like trimming your bonsai trees or hauling your model boat out of the pond. Get blocks with (1) or (2) sheaves and rig up whatever you need. Each block has an aluminum frame about 3–1/2” long with “S” hooks on each end. The sheaves, or wheels are about 2” dia x 1/4” wide, with a “V” groove that looks perfect to handle 1/8” or smaller Venetian blind cord. These dudes are perfect for demonstrating mechanical advantage in the physics lab!! But not for heavy lifting.

Cotter Pins
Slide them through a slot, then flare the ends to hold them there. We have (1) size of metal cotter pins, for all your project needs. Small are 1–1/4” long x 1/4” wide, with a 1/8” wide eye.

A Snarl of Magnet Wire
One of those sharpie East Coast outfits pulled a fast one on this poor naive Midwestern dealer. The result is we have a pile of exotic coated copper magnet wire. The coatings and colors vary widely, as does the gauge of the wire. With a couple of exceptions there isn't enough of any one kind among the hundreds in the pile to list separately. So we are offering an assortment and you get whatever we grab. Either way you will get a terrific value, particularly if you have an exotic application and get just what you need. Even if you are just making a garden variety coil or electromagnet you will still find the prices are very good. So go ahead, profit from our misfortune. We are glad to be of service. Sigh.

Mini Mandrel
Steel mandrel, 1/8" dia x 1-3/4" long. It has a slot head screw fastener with a fiber washer and can handle cutoffs etc with as little as a 1/16" bore and as much as 1/4" thickness. Good for the cutoff wheels you will find listed nearby and similar items for your rotary tool. PLEASE NOTE: In our catalog the size is listed as 3/32". This is a misprint. The correct size is 1/8" shank. Sorry.

AIRCRAFT CABLE
Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Sew What?
We've had our eye on this macho needle kit. It includes (7) steel needles: (1) 1-3/4" for leather, (1) 1-3/4" for carpet, (1) 2-1/4" for sails, (2) 3" needles, one for packing and one for canvas, and (2) 2-1/8" dia curved needles, one for mattresses and one for lampshades. All right. So maybe you can use the lampshade needle to sew up softballs. May we suggest you stick these on one of our magnets, so you always know where they are?

A Painful Choice
A thumbscrew, if you have an enemy with fat thumbs -- a thumbscrew-style hose clamp, if not. Metal, adjustable between 3/4" and 1-1/2". We suggest that this would be a good time to fix that leaky hose, before your wife starts eyeing your diphalangal digits.

Interesting Ceramics
Ceramic magnets, 15/16" dia x 3/16" thick. One side has a 5/16" sq that goes through to a steel plate is octagonal, 9/16" across with a 3/16" dia hole in the center. The plate allows flexible mounting of the 3/4 lb lift magnet. The other interesting feature is that the ceramic appears to have many poles around the rim, (4 ea N and S). This may be a focussing effect of the insert, though.
