No glue gun? You can still turn your excess time into a frivolous (but non-violent) lifestyle. 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" squares of yellow hot-melt glue, made for use in a glue pot, can work with heat sources you may already have on hand, like a candle, lighter or soldering iron. General purpose adhesive suitable for attaching decorative flounces to unsightly workbenches. Dries slightly yellow, choose your color scheme accordingly.

Make Molds For Free!
Just leave bread in a damp place. Or buy this stuff and make casts of solid objects, anything from faces and fingers to celery and crucifixes, with quick-setting Instamold. (We'll sell you 10 oz. of the Instamold compound, but you provide the water to mix it with.) Then fill the molds you've made with plaster, wax, or Permastone-yes, we sell Permastone too. It's an extremely strong casting medium with a clean white hue when set, waterproof and scratch resistant. Each can we sell has 1-3/4 lbs. of Permastone, to be mixed with water.

Snow, Sap, Bird Poo
Fling that snow from your windshield instead of scraping it. This 34" x 7 ft sheet of black plastic can be cut to fit and protect the largest windshield. Attach the four adhesive-backed 2" x 3/4" magnets at strategic points, and it's always ready to snug into place. If you live in a windy area, just leave enough length to tuck the plastic into the front doors as you close them. When you wisk it off, any snow or dirt goes right along with it!

Green Means Go
It's an on/off SPST key switch with dual indicator lights, and even if you don't need it as is, the parts are little treasures on their own. A standard round key switch and small rectangular LEDs, (1) red and (1) green, are connected to an 8-pin connector by 8-1/2 leads. The red LED also has 14" leads to a 2-pin connector. Requires 3 VDC. Comes with (2) keys. All are keyed alike.

Punch Set
Punch 1/8" to 1/2" holes in leather, balsa wood, etc., with this set of (9) steel punches. The punches, which come in a fitted black-plastic carrying case, are 1/2", 7/16", 25/64", 3/8", 5/16", 1/4", 3/16", 5/32" and 1/8". They are 3-1/4" to 3-3/4" long, with knurled grips, imprinted sizes, and side slots to allow the slugs to fall out.

It's magic! Flick on your high beams, and the garage door opens before your very eyes! It opens, at least, if you have a Stanley garage door opener manufactured after April 1982, and before they converted to newer, rolling frequency transmitters. This Stanley remote control with a programmable 10-position dip switch is connected to the high-beam wires in your car with quick-connect terminals that bite onto the wires. The remote transmits on 310 mHz. Conversion kits are available for other manufacturer's dip-switch or jumper-wire programmed openers - but we don't have them.

Collapsible Cone, With Flasher
A highway safety essential that takes up approximately no trunk space. Our 17" tall traffic safety cone collapses (like an old top hat) into a 9-7/8" square x 1-1/8" thick package. Made of orange nylon with spring-steel rings inside and a reflective silver band on the outside, the hard-plastic base holds a red LED that lights the cone from the inside. Hoist That Bike
Store your wheels on the ceiling and out of the way. You get a pair of 10" long x 3-1/2" wide brackets with pulleys, padded prongs to grab the seat and handlebars, and (40) feet of rope for hoisting to ceilings up to 14 feet high. Pull the rope and the pulleys do the work for easy lifting of bikes up to 50 lbs. A locking mechanism guards against the bike falling on your head, which is almost always a bad thing.

An AS&S first: giant sheets of neoprene foam padding with one very reflective, tough, non-conductive, lightly textured silver foil surface. We think it was originally for military use, but we know it's absolutely perfect for making a tin man or robot costume, or lining your bedroom and reflecting those annoying radio signals from Venus. Our each is a 42" x 56" sheet that's a generous 1/8" thick. Warning: If you want this stuff, don't procrastinate-it's going to fly out the door!
