Pencil Torch
Refillable butane torch, with a 1/2" dia x 5-3/4" body and a 1/4" dia. x 2-1/4" long head. Newly manufactured P-38 Can Opener from the same folks who supply them to Uncle. It folds! into 1-1/2" x 5/8" flat piece which is easily carried and lost. Reportedly works much better than the Asian knockoffs for those who really want to gain entry to the Spam!

Mylar Warmth
They have the look of something designed for the space program. They're mylar, a paper-thin shiny metallic sheet, that comes in handy when your car breaks down in winter, or when you're separated from your climbing group on the slopes of Mt. McKinley. Barring that, they're also a perfect material for a do-it-yourself cold-climate Halloween costume-near impossible to rip by hand, but cut easily with scissors. There's no padding, so they wouldn't be too comfy on your bed, but they sure are warm. They both come folded about the size of a wallet. The Blanket is 52" x 82", the Sleeping Bag is 34" x 84".

Ride Off Into the Sunset
It's hard to make a good exit if your feet keep slipping off the pedals. We have acquired (2) styles of replacement bike pedals, so you can depart in dignity. Cheap dignity. Flat-top pedals give each foot a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" hard plastic platform on a shaft with 1/2" dia x 7/8" threaded end. Both pedals threaded counter-clockwise. These "excel" pedals may have been made for an exercise bike. Concave pedals are 1-3/16" thick and have slightly dished 2-5/16" x 4" faces. These come in lefts and rights (you'll get one of each) with 1/2" x 1/2" clockwise and counterclockwise threaded shafts.

Better Grade Dental Tools
A variety of shapes and ugliness, though no unbroken tips. Some single ended, some double. Super for all manner of hobbyism, except for do-it-yourself-dentistry. Excellent price in today's weakened dollar market. All stainless steel.

Needle File Set
Miniature 5–1/2" steel needle files. They come in the usual assortment of flat, wedge, triangular, and round shapes, (10) in all. They seem to be pretty uniformly fine with none that we would call coarse. Made in China, they come in a vinyl carrying case that snaps shut. Not as classy as some of the sets we have seen in the $12.00 range, but perfectly serviceable for most applications. And at a third the price.

Good Grips
Mountain bicycle handle grips, all new, slightly soft black rubber. All apparently first quality. Great for replacements. Not a biker? Try them as bump protectors on mops and brooms and oars. Or for improving grip on fishing and butterfly nets, ski poles, and miscellaneous handles around the factory!! "Rib" means circumferential ribs,. "Smo" means smooth. The "Shift" grips are meant to go over the gear shift ring and have internal ribbing for half their length to grip the shift ring which reduces the stated ID by 1/8". "Knob" means it has knobby circumferential ribs alternating with smooth spaces. "Open" (or "Op") means both ends are open and "Closed" means one end is closed. All except the "Shift"'s are slightly tapered inside for a tight friction fit. We give the maximum ID in the table.

Lock Look-Alike
So your friends all think you have automatic locks on your Datsun? The flat 3" x 2" black-leatherette device on your split keyring does look like a car remote. They don't have to know that when you squeeze it, you light a small incandescent bulb at the edge of it. (It's really a pocket flashlight!) You just need to spend some time practicing that little chirping sound.

Hard Dentistry
Prick tiny bits of gunk from nasty places with these U.S. made hardened stainless steel dental tools. But please don't use them for dental work. They are slight seconds, and some may have been re-worked which only matters to teeth. Trim excess glue from models, place a barrel on the deck of the ship-in-a-bottle, clean a rasp. If you need the strength and durability in a tiny pick, you need these tools. We have an assortment of the sort you've seen laid out on your dentist's tray. We'll pick (3) different ones for you.

Artist's Brushes
Maybe a little eclectic for an artist with a single style, but perfect for one who's still searching for himself. Or for any hobbyist. There are no (2) brushes exactly alike in this set of (15). They all have natural bristles, color-coded wooden handles and metal ferrules, but they range from fairly fine to 1/2" wide, and 7" to 10" long. There are at least (3) different kinds of bristles, and they are round, blunt and pointed. A nice variety, and a very nice quality for this price.
