Safety Flasher
"Laser" safety lights each with super bright LEDs run by (2) "AA" batteries that you supply. It's square and has a flashing or steady LED lamp visible up to 2500 feet (distance may be exaggerated). A 2" x 2-1/2" red plastic reflecting lens covers (3) lamps. Hook it on your belt or pack with the belt clip, use the included elastic strap for arm or leg mounting, or the included aluminum flange to attach it to your bike.. It's great for general use as a warning device or as an emergency signal for roadside breakdowns.

Microscope glassware for examination of blood, pond water, mold, and other minutiae. All of the microscope slides are optically clear glass 26mm x 76mm (about 1" x 3"), between 1mm and 1.2mm thick. The well slides, of course, have a concave well to hold a drop of liquid. Our each is a package of (12) well slides, or a box of (72) standard slides with ground or beveled edges. Cover glasses are the smaller and very thin pieces of glass used as the top of the glass slide sandwich. They are often used temporarily by simply dropping them onto a drop of liquid to flatten and spread it and to minimize evaporation. More confident microscopists will cement them in place to permanently preserve a specimen. Our each is a package of (100) cover glasses 18 mm square, #1 thickness (0.13mm to 0.17mm). If you need one, you need both.

Super Bright
For regular use on the back of your bike, or emergency use when the car breaks down, this 6" x 4" x 1-1/2" weather-resistant, easy-to-use safety light is hard to beat. Stand it upright with the sliding bracket, or attach it to metal with the (2) strong magnets on the back. Red plastic over (18) big, bright LEDs, it can be seen for up to 1-1/4" miles. So the concept was developed by NASA for the space program. You can use it to beef up the safety lighting on your bike. Or re-enact the Electric Horseman, or maybe just really dress up a jogging hat. It's a 30" long x 1/4" wide electroluminescent peel-and-stick strip like the government uses on airplanes. (Hey, that's what it says on the box.) It glows a light blue--in steady or flashing modes--when powered by (2) "AAA" batteries, which are not included because we can't do everything. The control box and battery case, 2" x 1-1/2" x 1" thick, is in the middle of the strip with mounting hardware for your bike. Or saddle.

Save the Table
Stick that hot pencil-style soldering gun or woodburning tool into this stand. The base is approx 5" x 3-1/2" x 7/8" in black-painted steel. The holder is a 4" x 1-3/8" dia protective outer coil with an inner metal sleeve, plus a little sponge for wiping your iron.

Inside the lab, it's a standard translucent-white, LDPE-plastic wash bottle, 500ml/16oz, measuring 2-3/4" dia x 6-3/4 tall with a screwcap and a right-angle, 5/16" dia nozzle. Outside the lab, it's so pleasing to squeeze and squirt with that some of us keep them in the kitchen.

Masks, Gas, Russian
Assembled in the U.S. from Russian parts, anyway. What we have here is a full range of sizes in gas masks for adults and children, although frankly, the smallest of them are really more Yorkshire-terrier sized. New, but surplus, and while they're rated NBC for nuclear/biological/chemical contaminants, they carry absolutely no guarantees. These are to be used as part of a collection, or for costume/novelty purposes. The children's masks come with a 12" long hose, filter tank, defogging pencil, and carrying pouch. The Small is for faces less than 4-1/4" between cheekbones (and less than 3" from the top of the nose to the chin). Medium is for 4-1/4" to 4-1/2" (3" to 3-3/8" top of the nose to the chin). Large, from 4-3/8" to 4-5/8" (3-3/8 to 3-5/8"). Extra large, from 4-1/2" to 4-7/8" (3-5/8" to 3-7/8"). The adult's masks come with an integrated, screw-on filter canister, carrying pouch, and (6) plastic eye-lens covers. The small ones are for adults with a facial circumference (measure around the crown of the head and under the chin) of 24-3/4" or less.
