Good things come in (2) different small packages. Our pocket microscopes are compact and perfect for a clear, close look at stamps, coins, flora, insects or assorted minutiae. The 30X version measures 5-3/4" x 1-5/8" x 3/4" in black plastic with a focus knob, on/off switch, small LED for illumination, and a vinyl carrying case. Requires (2) "AA"s. The 60X version is a microscopic 3-1/4" x 1-3/16" x 3/4" and has a built-in white LED illuminator powered by (3) coin-cell batteries that are included. Doodle In 3-D
Think of it as a shortcut to learning perspective. This clever 50-sheet pad of white, 7" x 4-1/2" paper has a fine red and blue grid pattern that shows your drawing and doodling in 3-D when you wear the included 3-D glasses. It's our candidate for the why-didn't-I-think-of-that award this year.

Ouch!
Looks like a cheap kid-sized tennis racket, but brother, this ain't for the kids. It's actually a fine way for adults to work on their upper-body strength and kill bugs at the same time. 18" long, with a 6" wide paddle lined with metal grid. A coil in the handle sends high voltage through the paddle when a button is pushed, hit a bug with it and the bug will bug you no more. But despite the manufacturer's claims that it's safe for people, Scott reports that flesh-paddle contact delivers a nasty shock, nasty enough to say "Keep this away from kids!" We've seen these in other catalogs for about twice the price, so buy it from us. Just be careful with it. 2 AA batteries, not included.

Dwarf Hammer
Even Grumpy would be happy if he had this very cool, stub-handled claw hammer to work with. It packs the punch of a 10-oz hammer, but is only 6" long overall, so it fits nicely in a sleepy cottage in the forest - or a studio apartment, emergency toolbox, or kitchen drawer. It's ideal for crafts, picture hanging and other dopey little jobs, but we wouldn't be bashful about using it for any hammer-type task. Drop-forged steel head a little (4-1/2" head to claw), but they gave it a heavy-duty frame, a contoured rubber grip, and a small magnet in the head for starting brads and nails. And we gave it a price that's nothing to sneezy at.

Assorted Beads
Glass beads, German, 0.055" diameter, the kind you glue on to for a sparkly finish. These do not have holes in them. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz. Ours come in little baggies, but you only have to pay $.875 per oz. And you don't have to choose a color, because we're sending you (10) 1 ounce packages, which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors from a selection of orange, yellow, aqua, green, blue, bright blue, lavender, pink, fuchsia and black.

White Gloves
For running white glove tests. These are closer to a cream color, and are unused UK military surplus liner gloves for N-B-C suits, but they're nicely made, and would be quite useful as emergency opera-wear if you're in white tie but left your gloves in the Bentley. The men's Lg are labeled 8 to 8-1/2, and will be either 9-1/2" or 13" long (our choice) from fingertip to end of glove. These are also very nice painters/craft gloves for folks allergic to latex. Worried about your appliances during storms? Our small, three-prong plug-in transient surge protector 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 1" (with no female end) plugs into a single outlet, whether on an outlet strip or an outlet receptacle. It turns the entire receptacle into a surge protector, and protects your wiring from high-voltage spikes. It works by directing the surge through itself and away from your valuables. It has an indicator LED and is fuse protected but, again, has no outlets on it. A very handy item. UL listed.

And twice as space-savingly useful. Our skinny, clear-plastic pitcher, a mere 4" wide at its widest spot, is made to occupy as little space as possible. So slim an oval that it can pour without a spout, it's 9" tall and 8-1/2" deep, including the handle. It holds a full 64 oz/2 liters and is graduated in 8 oz/250ml increments. The flared base adds stability, which it needs because it has no lid to keep it from spilling if you use it in the fridge. Yours might have some very slight, surplus-induced, scratches. Or it might not.

Crunched Numbers
Numberetti? What else would you toss on people's heads at a Fiscal New Year's Eve party, but confetti made from punched out numbers?!? And letteretti? When she's finally published, what's better than letter confetti?!? The tissue-paper letters and numbers, in assorted colors and approx 1-3/4" high, are also a nice touch at graduation parties for accounting or journalism majors! Each bag holds a couple of good handfuls, and you get two bags of each kind.
