Little Glass Ampules
Terrific little glass bottles with looooong necks, in the shape called "Ampules". About half the total height is a standard cylindrical shape, at the top of this there is shoulder and above that, is an elongated tulip shaped neck. All are clear. They may have either a blue, gold or ground band on or below the "bulb" of the tulip. Bud vases for a single forgetmenot, decorative holders for colored sand or water, delicate vials for perfumes and essences, whatever the use, you just won't find them in stores. The 2 ml is 75mm tall with a 4mm neck and is 11.5mm at the bottom while the 5 ml is 88mm tall with a 6mm neck and is 16mm in diameter at the bottom. Looking for bulk savings? Mini-Monster Prism
Optical grade unsilvered glass prism from Uncle's WWII tank periscopes. This one is 2-1/8" on the hypotenuse, 5-3/4" long, and 1-1/2" on each leg. They may come with small non-interfering chips or surface scratches. Great for classroom experiments or for art projects. Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

BOTTLEMANIA
Zillions of little bottles. Renegades from a pharmaceutical company, leftover unfilled from runs of exotic we-know-not-what. We have divided them into three basic shapes: A, Narrow Mouth, h (Narr Mo) have a 10mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 13mm dia. 3mm rim and a 7mm dia. opening; B, Wide Mouth, (Wide Mo) have a 16mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 19mm dia. x 3mm rim and a 12 or 13mm dia opening; C, Sloped Shoulder, (Sl Sh) have roughly 5-6mm long neck that tapers from the soft shoulder to 15mm dia, with a 19mm dia x 3mm rim and a 12-13mm dia. opening. Height refers to height overall, and dia. to the body dia. in the table below. Great items for the doll house (for kids old enough not to swallow them), to hold tiny wild flowers, for decorative art work, individual cruets, or just to hold and marvel at. All quite sturdy glass. In the real world, you would pay from $75 (smallest) to $225 (biggest) for 288 of these, which is the smallest quantity you could get!! Narrow mouth bottles take a #00 cork. (Our part number 88746) Wide mouth and sloped shoulder bottles take a #3 cork. (Our item number 88748)

Popcorn Rock…
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD-Small Parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
That’s right, a rock that grows crystals that look sort of like popcorn! Just immerse it in vinegar and wait 1 to 3 weeks (instructions included). It looks like a roughly 2" lump of coal before crystal growth, in case you were wondering. Truly amazing!

Absolutely magnificent magnet!! Very strong - we estimate it has a 35 lb. pull - neodymium-iron-boron (rare earth) that is only about 3/4” x 1-1/8” x 7/16” thick. It is actually trapezoidal, so the 1-1/8” dimension slants from 1” to 1-1/4”. They are pretty clean take-outs, painted silver, white or black, and may have some very small chips. Be careful!! These guys will murder a computer or audio/video tape. A pair will leap into a deadly embrace from over 6” apart and may knock chips off themselves from the force of their impact!! A single magnet holds (4) of our catalogs (11 oz, 5/16” thick) to the side of a steel file cabinet. We cannot say too much in favor of this magnet!!

Butane Beauty
