Actually, to dye with. Top quality highly concentrated fabric dyes from Putnam Dye Co. (Since 1876!!) The fadeless dyes come in individual packets with enough for about 1 pound of dry material. And they work on a very wide range of natural and synthetic fabrics. We have a rainbow of colors from which we will pick (3) different ones for your order. They come with instructions.

Make Molds For Free!
Just leave bread in a damp place. Or buy this stuff and make casts of solid objects, anything from faces and fingers to celery and crucifixes, with quick-setting Instamold. (We'll sell you 10 oz. of the Instamold compound, but you provide the water to mix it with.) Then fill the molds you've made with plaster, wax, or Permastone-yes, we sell Permastone too. It's an extremely strong casting medium with a clean white hue when set, waterproof and scratch resistant. Each can we sell has 1-3/4 lbs. of Permastone, to be mixed with water.

A pair of kits for ages 10 and up which will be fun to assemble and great educational aids for learning anatomy. Each is a complete, 15" tall model of the human body, including skeleton, internal organs and a clear plastic skin through which they may be viewed. Of course, what you get is all the bits and pieces. So the assembler must identify the parts, paint them (optional, paint not included) and glue them together to complete the finished man or woman. Which is what provides the fun and learning. Simple well illustrated directions and a comprehensive booklet summarizing the functions of the parts and explaining the body's systems (respiratory, digestive, endocrine, etc.) are included. This is Philip’s new favorite toy, since he blasted a rocket so high over our parking lot that he lost sight of it (the rocket, not the parking lot). The Air Burst™ Rocket system has a 26” tall, air–powered tri–pod launcher made of plastic and rigid foam. A 65” long air hose connects it to any stand–up bike pump. After a few pumps, the air pressure bursts a replaceable booster disc in the launcher and sends a 10” x 3/4” dia rocket 250 to 1000 feet into the air. Wow! The system includes the launcher, (2) rockets, and (60) boosters (two different weights). Sending rockets out of sight, even if they usually come straight back down, is an ingenuous ploy for selling extra rockets. Our each is a pack of (2). And having extra rockets is an ingenuous ploy for selling extra booster discs. Our each is another bag of (60). No bicycle pump? The 18” black Tech Team pump blew majestically through a “double bozon” booster for us! It creates up to 120 lbs of pressure while most pumps will only generate 80 psi. It fits a Schrader (American) valve. Warning: The Air Burst™ Rocket is for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision. Don’t let us catch you out there without a kid!

Diving Submarine

Back in the days when technology was a good guy, kids got diving submarines that they charged with baking powder and played with in the bath tub. Now kids can have the same fun again. We have found a (gray!) submarine, about 3" long, that can dive and surface up to a dozen times with a single charge of the baking powder that you get to supply. Comes with instructions.

Shrink Plastic
Incredible stuff!! And even better than those dinky cutouts you used to make! Our each is a pack of (8) 8" x 10-1/2" shrinking plastic sheets that start clear and stay clear. Draw a design, write a message, create a sign, whatever. Cut it out, bake it in a 350° oven for about 3 minutes, and it shrinks to 45% of its original size. Problem with certain pencils and markers on the slick sheets? Try a light sanding (320-400 grit) before writing on it. (The surface will be more opaque.) What a fun way to make small errors become insignificant!

What’s left of a Kansas City cow after all the steaks are gone? Lots of leather! (Think buckskin, not biker jacket.) You choose from: 1) The one-piece Lace Leather Belly. Really more of a long half-belly, this solid piece of leather is between 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 sq feet. Ours was black, approx 10-1/2” wide x 53” long x 1/8” thick. 2) A pack of Leather Strips. Ours was a very assorted 2 lbs of strips and larger pieces of leather, 1/16” to 1/8” thick, in rust and brown. 3) The Farmer Bundle Repair Bag, 2 lbs of scraps in various colors. Ours contained a solid 12” x 8” black piece and a very large bundle of brown leather thongs 47” long x approx 1/8” square. Lots of variety, and lots of heavy leather for the price.

Wonder Magnet
Absolutely magnificent magnet!! Very strong - we estimate it has a 35 lb. pull - neodymium-iron-boron (rare earth) that is only about 3/4” x 1-1/8” x 7/16” thick. It is actually trapezoidal, so the 1-1/8” dimension slants from 1” to 1-1/4”. They are pretty clean take-outs, painted silver, white or black, and may have some very small chips. Be careful!! These guys will murder a computer or audio/video tape. A pair will leap into a deadly embrace from over 6” apart and may knock chips off themselves from the force of their impact!! A single magnet holds (4) of our catalogs (11 oz, 5/16” thick) to the side of a steel file cabinet. We cannot say too much in favor of this magnet!!
