Super Bright
For regular use on the back of your bike, or emergency use when the car breaks down, this 6" x 4" x 1-1/2" weather-resistant, easy-to-use safety light is hard to beat. Stand it upright with the sliding bracket, or attach it to metal with the (2) strong magnets on the back. Red plastic over (18) big, bright LEDs, it can be seen for up to 1-1/4" miles. LEDs flash or can be switched to a steady light. With (4) good quality "AA" batteries (not included) it will last up to (30) hours.

So the concept was developed by NASA for the space program. You can use it to beef up the safety lighting on your bike. Or re-enact the Electric Horseman, or maybe just really dress up a jogging hat. It's a 30" long x 1/4" wide electroluminescent peel-and-stick strip like the government uses on airplanes. (Hey, that's what it says on the box.) It glows a light blue--in steady or flashing modes--when powered by (2) "AAA" batteries, which are not included because we can't do everything. The control box and battery case, 2" x 1-1/2" x 1" thick, is in the middle of the strip with mounting hardware for your bike. Or saddle.

Little Big Light
Doesn't know its own strength-or its potential for longevity. This 2-1/4" long flashlight-shaped LED flashlight has 8000 mcd brightness-which is good'n'bright-and will last 10 to 15 hours. (Those LEDs last just about forever, and use very little battery power.) This one is on a short chain with a 15/16" slip ring and comes with (3) AG-3 batteries.

This clever little bicycle or head lamp has (9) bright white LEDs flanked by a pair of red LEDs. Set it for one of (3) modes: single white LED; all (9); or just the (2) red flashers. Has a handlebar mount and an adjustable elastic head strap, and swivels up/down and left/right in either. The light measures 2-5/8" x 2-7/8" on a 1-3/4" x 1-5/8" bracket and we'll include (3) "AAA" batteries. It runs about 24 hours on a set of alkaline batteries. Pick from a pair of little packs. The black nylon fanny pack was made for a personal stereo but is just large enough, at 6" x 4-1/2" x 2", for a wallet and keys and a few extras, plus it has a cell-phone-sized, zippered 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" compartment alongside the main one, and an adjustable, 34" long strap with a buckle closure. As a bonus they might even have a little left over adhesive on the pack from the label after it is removed. The waist pack is also zippered black nylon, 5" x 4" x 1-1/2" with an adjustable 36" buckled strap and a keyring snap on the outside, but is lightly padded inside to protect your sensitive electronics.

The Bulbous Bulb Lamp
Tired of wimpy little lightbulbs? Our bigger bulb is an 8-1/2" tall lightbulb-shaped light fixture over a replaceable 6V Krypton flashlight bulb. The base, with its socket, is 4-1/4" dia in silver plastic with (3) mounting holes. Uses (4) "AA" batteries, not included, and you turn it on by pulling the string or pushing the big bulb. Will also stand upright as a lamp, and would make a nice mad-inventor/bright-idea costume addition.
