Giant Wicks
Look like they were made for a giant's home, but were probably made for tiki lamps. Or not: we're told it's actually upholstery piping or batting. We still say giants use them in candles. They are 3/4" dia and made of woven string wrapped around 18" long cotton rods.

Bead Heaven
Glass beads, 0.055" diameter!! They are German and are the kind you glue on stuff to make it sparkle or reflective--not the kind with holes. At our price you could do layers in little bottles for really cool thingums!! We have 'em in clear and a whole host of colors. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for a ruinous $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz.. Well, we don't have the tube so you are going to get a baggie, but you only have to pay $1.00 per oz so jump up and down and clap your hands over such a great deal!! The only thing left is to choose what you need. In case you can't do that, we offer an assortment of (10) packages which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors.

Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

Wooden Parts
A great assortment of small wooden parts for your craft making pleasure. You receive (1) lb. bag of smooth wooden parts such as discs, balls, buttons, barrels, ribbed posts, etc. Some even have beveled edges. Paint 'em, stain 'em, glue 'em, carve 'em. Get the kids create started on "found art" or better yet, let them find their own uses for these wonderful pieces.

Maybe a little eclectic for an artist with a single style, but perfect for one who's still searching for himself. Or for any hobbyist. There are no (2) brushes exactly alike in this set of (15). They all have natural bristles, color-coded wooden handles and metal ferrules, but they range from fairly fine to 1/2" wide, and 7" to 10" long. There are at least (3) different kinds of bristles, and they are round, blunt and pointed. A nice variety, and a very nice quality for this price.

Store bits and pieces, hooks and eyes, screws and bolts, beads and sequins, even pills and capsules -- almost any sundries that should be kept in discrete compartments. Each of our (5) 1-1/4" x 6" dia toroidal holders is divided into (5) sections and has a single hinge and a latch. Each has a 2-5/16" bore in the center, the better to fit on its 5-3/4" tall spindle. A small carrying handle twists onto the spindle to lock the holders together. Blue and white translucent plastic, a total of (25) compartments, and a modular design so interesting you might call each of the compartments a modified Pei shape.

Clay Now, Bronze Later
Even Michaelangelo started with clay. He probably didn't have 6" x 2-1/4" x 1/4" slabs of non-hardening, nontoxic modeling clay in red, blue, green and yellow, though. Or animal-cracker-sized molds of a deer, elephant, pig or squirrel. If Mike had only had that squirrel mold, he could have made it big.

You decide which end is up -- or in this case, which side is up -- when you buy this sturdy 30 1/2" x 12-1/2" x .053" turquoise-vinyl sheet. It's very reversible! For Disney fans, the top is covered with a flowery gloss-on-matte Lilo & Stitch design, with a 12-1/2" x 2-7/8" logo strip in the center. Buff the back side lightly (it picks up an L&S impression from being stacked) and you have a smooth, rich dark-turquoise vinyl. We voted to use it as a drawer or shelf liner, kid's play mat, DIY mouse pads, place mats….

Helping Hands... and Eyes
We just wish there was something, anything, to do around here that required this thing, on account of it's so cool. Our newest Helping Hand has a pair of alligator clips on swiveling arms, likewise a 2-1/4" dia x 1.5X magnifier plus an LED flashlight on a gooseneck. Everything swivels every way there is and tightens with little thumbscrews-and some of the configurations look like it's maybe alive, and from Venus. Jewelry makers? Diamond cutters? Forensic scientists? Maybe we'll start making small electronics, or tying flies.
