Slide Pot
Nice little slide pot of the sort used for e.g. speaker volume control. Which is to say it is low wattage, probably under a half, but we don't know for sure. It has a 3/8" x 1-3/8" x 1/4" body with a 1/2" long constant resistance between the inside contacts, short between the outside, and 0-200 ohms variable between any inside and any outside contact. Four Season Switch
The four positions on this 2" x 1-5/16" x 7/8" rotary switch represent the four seasons of the year. The spring position turns on terminals 1 and 5. The summer position turns on all of the terminals. The fall position turns on terminals 2,3,5 and 6. On the winter setting, the time of year when all is quiet and dead, none of the terminals are turned on. All of the terminals have spade connectors and terminals 2 and 3 are joined. The switch has a 7/8" x 1/4" dia. fluted shaft and is mountable via. (2) threaded holes on the face plate. 25 amp at 125 VAC max.

Illuminating Moment
A cool double pole double throw momentary rocker switch. The rocking switch lever is white plastic with a 24 V bulb in it. Wire it so the lamp is always on, flashes when pushed, is on except when pushed....whatever you want. The switch is rated for 3 amps @ 125 VAC and has solder terminals. 1" x 3/4" x 1-3/8" from the tip of the rocker to the base of the solder terminals at the back. Cory suggests applying it to your rocket launcher.

RED LED
An LED that really shines. The red LED is configured with a resistor and works at 9-12 volts. It's held by a 1-5/8" bracket behind a 1-1/4" x 7/16" x 5/16" deep SPST slide switch, and has (2) 4" leads. All ready to roll.

And see the red light. This panel-mount SPST push-on/push-off switch from Molex is rated for 125V and has a neon indicator lamp. Measures 2-1/4" x 15/16" x 1/2" with 3/16" quick-disconnect terminals. The panel face is 1-5/16" x 1/2" with plastic wings to keep it in place. The button is marked "AEC." Two contacts for the switch; two contacts for the lamp (diagram included). Latching. UL/CSA. Made in the USA.

Wanna Toggle?
The correct answer is "I don't know; I've never toggled." If, however, you just want to turn something on and off, here's a choice of toggles for your switching delectation. The DPDT toggle is rated for up to 20A at 125VAC and has screw terminals below. Measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". No center-off position. The first DPST toggle is rated for 20A at 125VAC or 15A at 250VAC. Screw terminals on the bottom. Measures 1-5/16" x 3/4". The smaller DPST toggle is rated for up to 4A at 125VAC or 2A at 250VAC. Has 3/16" spade terminals on the bottom and measures 1" X 9/16". All the toggles come with switch-plates and mounting nuts.

All from GB® (Gardner Bender) or IDEAL® all bargains. The small SPST toggle switch, 1" x 1/2" x 1/2", has a switchplate, 3/8" bat, and 5-1/2" leads. Both panel mount DPST toggle switches, 1-3/8" x 3/4" x 1-1/8" OA, work with larger motors or appliances. Has screw terminals on the bottom and mounting hardware. The 1-1/8" x 5/8" x 1" deep OA momentary SPDT toggle switch, center off, is for back-and-forth switching, as with a winch. It's 3/4 HP max. Includes mounting hardware. When Is A Switch Like A TV Show?
When it has Red Buttons. These latching push-button switches, while they never had their own TV variety show, are still quite popular. They're SPST and rated for 250V 1A. The housing is 15/16" long x 7/16" dia with mounting nut and washer and with (2) 1/8" wide terminals. The push-button is 9/16" square, and red, sits in a black plastic sleeve, and will stand 7/16" off the face of your case.

Neatness Counts
Neatness definitely counts. Even in wiring. Especially in wiring. End those electrical mare's nests with this 6-position barrier strip, rated for up to 30A at 600V. Comes with a clear plastic cover with access to the screw terminals and measures 3-5/8" x 1-1/4" x 5/8" with a 5/16" mounting hole at each end. Terminals are in pairs.
