Our each is a bag of (48) 1-1/8" long x 1/4" dia, sickly-pale, squishy-soft rubber maggots - enough to infest your sister's bedroom from floor to ceiling to under the pillow with plenty left over to stick in her yogurt. Not that we'd ever do a thing like that. We like our sister. And she doesn't eat yogurt anyway.

Drop them in a glass of water and watch as they grow to (6) times their original size over a few days. Dry 'em out and watch 'em (very slowly) shrink back. Repeat as necessary for your amusement.

Egypto-Chess Laser Game
Board games meet Ramses in the 21st century. Khet, The Laser Game, is played on an 80-square grid with a pharaoh and obelisk playing king and pawn, sort of, plus a mirrored pyramid and a wandering "djed," and it's chess-like, except for the lasers firing from the corners and bouncing off the mirrors. The board measures 17-3/8" x 14-1/4" x 1-1/4" tall and the game is over when the pharaoh gets zapped. Includes (4) "AAA" batteries. For (2) players, ages 9 and up. Dance With The Stars!
We're dancing with the stars all over our office this week! We got this Dance Maker® Dancing in the Dark game from another national catalog house whose customers, apparently, were too dull or feeble to have the kind of fun we're having with it. Think of it as karaoke for the feet, as you gyrate on the colorful stars that light up in dance-step sequences on the 39" x 31" heavy-duty plastic pad. It plays (4) different dance patterns for each of the (3) different songs that are built into it, and has (3) different speed/skill levels. You can dance like a pro and not look down at your feet if you use the projection feature on the 12" x 16" control unit. Has focus, volume, mute switches (add your own music!). Bring your rhythm, and (3) "D" batteries.

Blowing Smoke
For fun or science. And it's not actually smoke, but a fog created the same way they do for movies and heavy metal concerts. The Zero Blaster is a ray-gun-shaped, black-light-sensitive pistol that pumps out 2" to 4" dia smoke rings (rotating toroidal vortices, to be exact) that will, one after another, waft up to 12 feet away for hours of good, clean fun. Measures 9" long x 6-1/2" high. The Wizard Stick is a fog-producing wand, 10" long on a 4-5/8" x 2-1/4" base, and comes with an instruction manual for science experiments and special effects, including making wind tunnels and a vapor-ring blaster. Also good as a household draft-finder. Each takes (6) "AA" batteries, not included, and comes with a 3-ounce bottle of non-toxic fog juice, good for 25,000 smoke rings or a whole lot of fog. Better order an extra bottle of Super Zero Fluid, the replacement juice, just in case.
