Surpies (regular A.S.&S. fans) know that there is nothing better than a Petri dish for holding small parts for a model, beads for a craft item, or specimens from a field trip, unless it’s something that works like a Petri dish but costs less. We’ve got that!! And they’re so inexpensive you that you can buy enough for those few odd nails, screws, bolts, and tourmalines. These heavy–duty, clear–plastic bead containers are about 3/4” deep. They stack, with the bottom of one dish becoming the lid of the one below it. The 2–3/4” rounds come in a pack of (4) with (4) lids, so they can be used separately. The pack of (12) 1–1/4” squares comes with (2) lids, so they can become (2) stacks.

Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. When a set of a dozen contains lavender, red and 10 other colors, it’s cool to the max. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. An ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display, anodized tins in great colors come in a set of (12) 2” dia x 7/8” deep. Prices are per set.

A great toy that demonstrates the basics of rocketry. A plastic rocket is partially filled with water, air is pumped in with a little hand pump, and upon the release, the air pressure pushes the water out the back, propelling the rocket. About 1-1/2" dia x 6" long. Flight tests suggest loft and distances of about 50 feet each are achievable, when the right water/air mix is found. However, since operations lost their rocket on the roof, testing was terminated before final results could be obtained. Clearly, these are good fun for all ages. It has everything you need... Just add water!!

The best thing about trickle–charge solar panels is that they stop dimes and dollars from trickling into the coffers of the utility company. But these panels from Sun–Mate Corp also power the batteries for electric fences, water pumps, outdoor telephones, fans, TVs and other devices beyond the reach of your orange extension cord. All voltage ratings are no–load. The small 3–3/4” x 2–9/16” x 1/4” panel has (2) threaded posts with nuts, and produces 0.5 volts @ 1.0 amp. All are waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion–resistant, and built to last a lifetime.

At last, the perfect gift for your brother-in-law who has everything. Fill our brand-new, individually wrapped, empty toothpaste-type tubes with your own homemade treat: guava toothpaste with pumice, pigeon-liver pate, free-flowing fudge. The aluminum tubes are 1-1/2" dia x 7-1/2" long OA, open at one end (waiting to be crimped shut), and with a nozzle and screwcap on the other end. They have lithographed labels. The tubes are being stored in the warehouse, of course, so you're going to want to be judicious about putting real food in them....

This is Philip's new favorite toy, since he blasted a rocket so high over our parking lot that he lost sight of it (the rocket, not the parking lot). The Air Burst(tm) Rocket system has a 26" tall, air-powered tri-pod launcher made of plastic and rigid foam. A 65" long air hose connects it to any stand-up bike pump. After a few pumps, the air pressure bursts a replaceable booster disc in the launcher and sends a 10" x 3/4" dia rocket 250 to 1000 feet into the air. Wow! The system includes the launcher, (2) rockets, and (60) boosters (two different weights). Sending rockets out of sight, even if they usually come straight back down, is an ingenuous ploy for selling extra rockets. Our each is a pack of (2). And having extra rockets is an ingenuous ploy for selling extra booster discs. Our each is another bag of (60). No bicycle pump? The 18" black Tech Team pump blew majestically through a "double bozon" booster for us! It creates up to 120 lbs of pressure while most pumps will only generate 80 psi. It fits a Schrader (American) valve. Warning: The Air Burst(tm) Rocket is for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision. Don't let us catch you out there without a kid!

Fearful of language barriers, some folks get anxious when they travel internationally. Not this fine red-alcohol glass thermometer. Whether its travels take it to Britannia or Madagascar, Appalachia or Moscow, it's always ready to tell the temperature in the local tongue. Working stateside? No problem: it reads 0° to 234° F, in 2° increments. On a junket across the pond? Again, the Passport Therm shines, reading -18° to 112° C in 1° increments. It's 12" long, 3/16" dia, and travels in a nothing-special-but-still-handy plastic case.

Not much to say on this one, except that it's very pleasing to the eye. Glass amber bottle is 2" tall x 1-1/16" dia. Holds 1/4 ounce. A white screw-on cap over its 1/2" ID mouth. What else is there to say? Very nicely proportioned.
