This time, it's metals. We've rounded up a group of metal pieces from the surplus world. And we've whacked them into bite-sized pieces that fit into your parts drawer and our shipping boxes. Unhappily, we wind up with a lot of time in these things, so the prices aren't in the "Virtually Free" category. But we're confident that they're a good 50% below comparable Hobby Shop prices, and a staggering savings over a conventional metals distributor with their cutting and minimum charges. We like to think of surplus as a material resource. In the case of tubing, Thickness refers to the tubing wall - OD means outside diameter - ID means inside diameter.

Mark Any Angle
This torpedo level not only indicates dead-on level with its vertical and horizontal bubbles, it has a floating 360° pointer to indicate the angle of any deviation. The 8" x 2-1/8" x 5/8" plastic level has a 5-3/4" long magnet embedded in its bottom edge, a hole from which to hang it for storage, and -- maybe -- some oily residue. The residue, if there, won't hurt it, and is the reason we can offer it at this incredible price. Just wipe it off, and smile.
