Tootin' Our Laser
We don't like to brag, but it's tough not to in a case like this. This is a wonderful pen-shaped laser pointer, 5-1/4" long, flat black or silver with gold pocket clip and head. It throws a red point a loong way (we've thrown it two city blocks at night, and it would've gone farther, but buildings got in the way). And what are we so proud of? We've seen a very similar item-not identical, mind you, but essentially the same-in one of those glossy, toys-for-grown-men catalogs. Their price? $20! We're proud not to be profit-mongers, buy it here and you can take pride in your smart shopping habits. Batteries included.

"Laser" safety lights each with super bright LEDs run by (2) "AA" batteries that you supply. It's square and has a flashing or steady LED lamp visible up to 2500 feet (distance may be exaggerated). A 2" x 2-1/2" red plastic reflecting lens covers (3) lamps. Hook it on your belt or pack with the belt clip, use the included elastic strap for arm or leg mounting, or the included aluminum flange to attach it to your bike.. It's great for general use as a warning device or as an emergency signal for roadside breakdowns.

So the puppy chewed through the phone cord? Our modular cords with connectors on each end let you replace the old one in a snap. They support (1) or (2) lines. The off-white modular base cords connect voice or data devices to a wall jack. At this price, we'd buy extra. Fido, after all, is still teething.

Direct To Modular
Don't toss out that obsolete direct-wire phone. It was made back in the old days, when telephones were made to last a lifetime instead of a year and a half. Use it, instead, with your modular wall jack and this 25 ft cream-colored base cord. It has a standard modular connector on one end and spade connectors on the other, and supports (1) or (2) lines. You get a working phone, and a warm feeling for saving the life of that reliable collectible.

Better Reception
So you're not receiving callers today. Does that mean you're indisposed? Oh, it means the antenna on your cordless phone is broken. What you need is our flexible replacement antenna. Inside its 3/8" ID adaptor is a 3/16" ID sleeve with a set screw. It fits onto the sockets of most telescoping antennas. Cream-colored, 7-1/2" long, comes with instructions.

Easy DIY wiring for your phone. This modular plug for a flat base cord is self-piercing. Insert the 4-conductor wire, bend it back, screw the cover on, and you're ready to plug it in. Needs 1" of clearance off the jack.

Good things come in little packages. In this case the package is a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/2" modulator, and the good things are a circuit board with at least a trimpot, electrolytic capacitor, assorted coils, 3-pin connector, RCA plug and (2) pop-off covers. Have a blast.

Phone Line Filter

Camera Tripod
A tripod with true portability -- It weighs only 2 lbs, the 4-ft aluminum legs (which can be locked down independently at any length) telescope to a convenient 22", and it slips easily into a zippered black-nylon quiver. The mast, which has a standard 1/4-20 camera mount and a built-in level, can be cranked up (literally) another 9-1/2". The manufacturer doesn't say how much weight the tripod will bear, but we'd keep it to under 10 lbs. Very nice for the money.

Phone Fix
One too many jerks on your phone? Fix that loose connection with a new telephone cord. Our replacement set includes (1) 80" wall-to-phone line cord and a matching 16" coiled handset cord that extends to approx 6 feet, with modular plugs on both ends of both cords. The sets are forest green, white, taupe, light blue, dark blue, and whatever shows up next. A Little Lightning
Despite parental advice, here's a good reason to sit in in a dark room and think small. This Plasma Storm isn't as large as a standard plasma ball, so not only is it much more affordable -- the effect is concentrated and startling. The black plastic base has a switch. Turn it on at which point the 3" dia plastic globe (think baseball size) is filled with blue stems that flare to pink, looking like dozens of electric flowers searching for a way out. Very cool. Comes with a 6-ft power cord with transformer.
