Absolutely incredible device! The Mirage®, a precision optical instrument, creates three-dimensional images of objects of your choice where there is nothing. Drop pennies, keys or similar small objects (your sister won't fit) into the 2-3/8" dia opening of this 9" dia x 3" high flying-saucer-shaped disc, and a perfect image of the object will appear floating above it. A Real Grabber
Okay, it isn't the cheapest magnet in the warehouse - but we dragged John's 165 lb filing cabinet around the dock with this 4-7/8" x 1" x 3/4" ceramic magnet, we're rating it conservatively at 100 lbs of pull, and we think it's a bargain. It has a 6" bracket with mounting holes on 5-1/2" centers, plus a 1/2" ID eyehook bolted into the center of it. It's all set to troll the bottom of the lake next time your filing cabinet falls overboard.

Sew What?
We've had our eye on this macho needle kit. It includes (7) steel needles: (1) 1-3/4" for leather, (1) 1-3/4" for carpet, (1) 2-1/4" for sails, (2) 3" needles, one for packing and one for canvas, and (2) 2-1/8" dia curved needles, one for mattresses and one for lampshades. All right. So maybe you can use the lampshade needle to sew up softballs. May we suggest you stick these on one of our magnets, so you always know where they are?

Mini Air Compressor
Nifty device that takes maxi air and squeezes it down into a mini condition. The device is roughly 6-1/2"" long x 6" tall x 4" wide. It has a 10 ft. cord that plugs into an auto lighter socket: i.e. it runs on 12VDC @ 10 amps. Air output is via a 12" hose with a variety of valve adapters for tires, soccer balls, rubber rafts, and just dusting off the environment. Complete with a 0-250 psi gauge. Which should be plenty of pressure to explode a weak bike tire or flimsy beach ball, so please be careful!

Double Vision
A clever twin-lensed loupe that clips on eyeglasses for hands-free magnification. Each 1" dia, 3.3-power glass lens is at the end of a thin metal arm and swivels easily. The metal clip mechanism is about 1-1/2" long, each lens and arm about 2-1/2" long. Use a single lens, or line two up to double the loupe to a 6.6 power. Individually, each has a 3" working distance. When they're used together, it's 1-1/2".

For Little Jobs
If you've maximized the value of your Dremel-type tool (1/8" shank.) with a router attachment, we can offer you a great set of mini router bits. Our set of (10) comes in a nice wooden box with a hinged lid. It includes 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" straight bits; 3/16" and 1/4" points; concave, convex and straight edge bits; a 1/4" round-nose bit; and a 1/4" groove-cutting bit that is flat on the bottom and curved on the sides. Just enough to give you a little edge on other hobbyists.

The Penny Cutters
These are the so-called miracle shears from Pakistan. They were designed for use by paramedics and others needing quickly to cut wire, light sheet metal, or other tough stuff that might stand between them and their quarry. They are normally demonstrated cutting a penny in two. Which they will do. But not as a steady diet. Let's dispel a few myths. While these are Pakistani stainless, we're not talking any miracles in manufacturing. They are good for their purpose, and real handy to have in the old tool box. But their purpose isn't making pennies into 5-mil pieces, and you will twist or break them at about the same time you find out that you've done the same thing to U.S. laws! For sheet metal or wire or fishing leaders or tin cans or whatever, be our guests.
