Scope Your Stethos!!
Stethos is Greek for chest. Indeed you can scope your stethos with this stethoscope, or your friend's or your dog's. But it works equally well for picking up any sound being transmitted through a solid medium. Listen to the air flowing through the heating ducts, the water in the pipes, the sounds of machinery, the termites munching on the floor joists!! The color does vary so we will select from what's currently available. We've had blue, teal, red, black, burgundy, green and purple, but there may be other colors yet to be seen! A great discovery device whether for biology or other pursuits. Not of professional quality, but not just a toy.

Designed for watchmakers, this aluminum loupe with a 1" dia, 10x glass lens snugs to your eye, but leaves your hands free, thanks to the flexible 15" headband that encircles your head. It has a 1-1/2" working distance, and would come in handy, too, if you poke around in needlepoint or manipulate anything miniature.

Pills With Punch
Add a little pizazz to your nitro pills! This 1-3/4" x 1/2" dia container for meds is anodized aluminum in mostly silver but also could be in blue, turquoise, purple, red, gold (our choice). It's gasketed so it's watertight. We recommend cleaning the inside with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol before using, since some have a bit of rust-colored residue in them. Flashy!

Behold our version of the gravity-fed sliding woodpecker. Ours is a 1-3/4" standard black woodpecker, not counting his cute red plume, slowly pecking his way down a 16-1/2" tall metal rod. Today's grandmothers are too busy updating their Mugbook page to cut buttons off discarded clothing, but you can start you own collection with this bag of approx 100 buttons. Very assorted, because you never know what you'll have to match. Sizes range from roughly 3/8" dia to 1-1/2" and they're sew nice you should get several bags.
