Optical Glass Filters
Al Luebbers, our founder, collected glass. Not glass like you'd find on a knick-knack shelf, but optical glass. Lenses, prisms, reticles and filters, for example. Focus on the filters. Many of his filters came out of military surplus, and this is for-real stuff. We mean many are solid dyed optical glass, ground and polished to flatness standards that were probably excessive. Others are from the old days in photographic optics, and their standards were even tighter than your militaristic Uncle's. We've found that photographers, artists, and optical designers still have an occasional need for good glass filters, so we're making a list of some goodies. As always, don't be timid about calling for quotes on quantities. If we have 'em, we'll sell 'em. Just don't sell them back. Please!

Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

BOTTLEMANIA
Zillions of little bottles. Renegades from a pharmaceutical company, leftover unfilled from runs of exotic we-know-not-what. We have divided them into three basic shapes: A, Narrow Mouth, h (Narr Mo) have a 10mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 13mm dia. 3mm rim and a 7mm dia. opening; B, Wide Mouth, (Wide Mo) have a 16mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 19mm dia. x 3mm rim and a 12 or 13mm dia opening; C, Sloped Shoulder, (Sl Sh) have roughly 5-6mm long neck that tapers from the soft shoulder to 15mm dia, with a 19mm dia x 3mm rim and a 12-13mm dia. opening. Height refers to height overall, and dia. to the body dia. in the table below. Great items for the doll house (for kids old enough not to swallow them), to hold tiny wild flowers, for decorative art work, individual cruets, or just to hold and marvel at. All quite sturdy glass. In the real world, you would pay from $75 (smallest) to $225 (biggest) for 288 of these, which is the smallest quantity you could get!! Narrow mouth bottles take a #00 cork. (Our part number 88746) Wide mouth and sloped shoulder bottles take a #3 cork. (Our item number 88748)

Binders!!
We've got a bundle of three ring binders. All have the standard chrome snap rings, of the diameter shown in the table listing. They are all sized for standard 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Some have a variety of logos, all promoting companies, products and institutions which will make you look very well connected indeed. Covers are stiff vinyl covered paperboard unless noted. Peculiarities and distinguishing birthmarks are as listed. Pockets refer to a pocket on the inside of the cover(s) into which loose sheets can be placed.

Presentation Folder
Great for volunteer organizations that are long on awards but short on cash, this 9-1/2" x 11-1/2" white-vinyl folder makes presentations special. Peekaboo Canisters
Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. The smaller canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display of anodized tins. They are packaged in sets of (12) and come in great assorted colors and are 2” dia x 7/8” deep. Each is an ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. Prices are per set.

Sprockets
We have a gaggle of sprockets, all plastic, all made to handle #25 chain (which has 1/4" spacing between adjacent links.) In the listing below, we list them by the number of teeth and nominal diameter x bore diameter. Further details of mounting and fastening are explained in the comments.

Dropper
Eye dropper, tongue dropper, test tube dropper, petri dish dropper, anywhere dropper. Use this 3" glass dropper, with a rubber squeeze bulb to drop small amounts of liquid wherever you think they should go. You will have to measure by counting drops, though, because there are no markings on it. Also, it is called "3" because that is about how long the glass tube is. Overall, it is 4" long.

Victorian Dropper
It looks as though it should be used for administering laudanum! A 30mL, 1-1/4" sq x 3" tall clear glass bottle, it has thick molded sides and a heavy lip: very antique in appearance. It is stoppered with a red(!) rubber stopper which is the squeeze bulb for the glass dropper tube inside. A real eye catcher, but give it a good wash please. It clearly is not sterile.

Four Funnels
Four fine funnels, a fantastic fare. Sturdy plastic, the biggest is 4-1/8" dia at the mouth, with a 1/2" dia spout, the smallest has a 1-7/8" dia mouth, 1/4" spout. The other (2) are in between. Frankly, it's freaky fun flowing fluids from four funnels!

Carton Tape & Gun
An imported tape dispenser specifically for the 2" wide carton tapes listed below. Guns of this type retail at $9.50 to $11.50, but we're offering this price to you as an accommodation to introduce you to the thrill of packaging, and to let you transform your dining room table into a shipping department overnight. The clear tape is an uber-sticky 2” X 55 yards. A high-quality tape made in the USA can be used as protective covering over labels or for sealing cartons. The tan tape is, well, tan, and the standard lightweight, 2" carton-sealing tape, available in 36 and 110 yard lengths, both of which are on 3" cores and fit the dispenser. And do compare the savings -- even discount stationery catalogs can't touch these prices.
