Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

Clip Lead Set
Ten electrical leads with an alligator clip on each end. Each lead is about 20" long, not counting the 'gators. Vinyl coated 20-22 ga. wire with a vinyl cover over each clip. They come in an assortment of five colors with two leads in each color. The manufacturer calls them heavy duty but we would restrict them to the light currents and low voltages you will be using in your home experiments. Our each is a set of (10).

Soft Touch
And easy to store. One of the better pick-up tools we've seen. Folds to just over 16" to store, but locks open at 30" with spring steel arms on an aluminum frame. It has soft, suction-cup-shaped grabbers and big, locking pistol grip. Pretty good gripping capacity too-maybe to 10 lbs or so. Get one for Mom, because at her age she can't reach the things she used to. And then get another one for yourself, because you'll be Mom's age before you know it.

Graphic Grill Thermometer
Who can read those little numbers in the hot sun? These 3-1/4" long triangular thermometers clip onto the grill, point down, and the little arrow moves along a 3-stage range, from yellow to reddish-orange to bright red, to indicate low to high heat. Our In-House Grill Maestro says shoot for the high side of the middle range.

OK, so it can't dance, but everything else about it is terrific. This compact LED flashlight with a momentary switch weighs approximately nothing, is very bright and is only 1/4" thick x 7/8" x 2-3/8" long -- smaller than your car key. A utilitarian design in black, blue, red or green (our choice) with metal trim, it comes with (2) coin cell lithium batteries and, at one end, a small swivel with a 1" split ring.

Little Right-Angle Light
This 3-1/4" long x 3/4" dia right-angle Botlight is right handy: mounts on hat, helmet or belt with a clip, stands straight up, or sticks on a ferrous surface by its magnetic bottom.
