Fridge Jars
Or anywhere-else jars, we suppose. They do look like food storage jars to us, and could hold salsa, but they could also hold paint, assorted hardware, or sand art. Each thick glass jar weighs 3/4 of a pound, is 4" dia x 3-1/2" tall, and holds 12 ounces. The green or red gasketed plastic screw tops have aluminized interiors. There might be some very slight scratches on the exterior bottom of the jar, but you'd have to look hard.

What's the opposite of frenetic? This tabletop lamp. The egg shape is soothing, the smooth surface is frosted, and the egg slooowly changes from pale yellow to pale green to pale pink to pale blue.... The open end of the 8-1/2" x 6-1/4" dia glass egg rests in a brushed aluminum base that houses a 10 watt halogen bulb and a motorized color wheel. It's 12-1/2" tall OA. Our each is a box of (50) high-filtration, low-breath-resistance (so you breathe easy, is what that means), fluid-resistant surgical masks with a single elastic strap. Fiberglass-free, too. They're made for medical uses, but we wouldn't sand furniture or spray paint without one.

Our newest desk set has a certain War of the Worlds charm to it. The black-plastic 5-1/2" square-ish base holds a standard 3-1/2" square sticky-note pad. The aluminum rod curving from the base displays an LCD clock, and hides the small magnet. What does the magnet do? Holds an elliptical ball point pen suspended above the pad. The pen's refillable and the included button cell battery can be replaced.
