Rainbow Fabric...Tape...Stuff

What is it? It's called Ticker Tape™, and it's a velvety nylon fabric, slightly stretchy and yarn-like, but flat, like tape. And light enough to be crocheted, we think. Cold-water washable. And it's from Italy, so it's really pretty. Whatever it is, it's by Moda-Dea™ and mighty craft-friendly. Approx 1/4" wide, you'll get (67) yards of it that segue through a series of hues. The Tropical Tape runs through leaf-green/yellow-gold/red-orange/orchid. The Festival Tape morphs through purple/red/turquoise. The Charade Tape blends red/green/orange/blue/purple.

Big Clip-On Magnifier

It's a beauty. Clear acrylic, rimless, 3-1/2" dia with an inset 3/4" dia lens. The lenses are 2X and 8X respectively (ignore the 3X and 12X on the box) and mounted on a 7" long gooseneck. On the other end of the gooseneck is a heavy-duty black spring clamp with 1-1/2" jaws. Both ends are removable with a Phillips screwdriver, if you're one of those folks who like to modify things and make new things from parts of other things.

Make A Silver Suit

An AS&S first: giant sheets of neoprene foam padding with one very reflective, tough, non-conductive, lightly textured silver foil surface. We think it was originally for military use, but we know it's absolutely perfect for making a tin man or robot costume, or lining your bedroom and reflecting those annoying radio signals from Venus. Our each is a 42" x 56" sheet that's a generous 1/8" thick. Warning: If you want this stuff, don't procrastinate-it's going to fly out the door!

The nice, dark-smoked-plastic book light will stand securely on a flat surface, or hold tight to a book cover with the 4-1/2" long x 1-3/4" wide paper-clip style base. The tiny-but-bright white LED lamp has an even tinier slide switch, and an 8" long covered wire that you can bend to hold in any position. Runs on (3) included AG13 button cell batteries that work, but are reaching their shelf life, which explains why they're lighting up our life.
