Brain Benders
A box of illusions: make big objects look small, and small objects look big; change black and white into color; turn drawings into old-style movies - just for starters. You get a motorized zoetrope/spinner with discs and strips, and a really amazing "altered perspective chamber," along with directions for a dozen optical activities. It's really mind-bending - but don't forget to buy (2) "AA" batteries for the zoetrope. Spinning it by hand just doesn't work as well! For ages 8 to adult.

Incredibubbles!
We love these! You're going to love these! Your kids are going to love these! Hundreds of clear marble-sized bubbles can cover the floor, cling to the sides of furniture, land on your arm. They float enchantingly, rising on air currents you can't even feel. After a few seconds, the bubbles are hard enough to catch or stack. Some will still be perched in out-of-the-way spots a day later. Touchabubbles goop, thicker than the bubble-blowing liquid you're familiar with, comes in a 4" plastic test tube with a wand built into the cap, and a clip on the side so you can carry it in a shirt pocket. The goop is nontoxic, but it tastes really bad, and you probably won't want these landing on expensive tabletops, so kids under 8 should have adult help with them. They should be sharing the fun anyway!

Lilliputians On Parade
A litter of tiny pink pigs, eensie elephants, or formally dressed penguins awaits you. Nicely detailed in solid rubber, they’re all approx 1” long (or tall). The (12) pigs in the pack are perfect for populating your toy barnyard, replacing houses in your Farmopoly set, or tracking Congressional pork projects. The (8) elephants make a nice home zoo, a Hannibalian motor pool, or GOP party favors. The (8) penguins look particularly cute marching along on parade, although we think that getting (80) of them for under 30 bucks is a bargain way to make your own penguin movie. And they’d all string along nicely for animal-jewelry designers. (Careful with the toddlers—these are eminently swallow-able.)

Duck!
Spin the ribbed 7" handle of this hand-powered prop between your palms, and watch it take off. (If it lands instead of flying off into the wild blue yonder, reverse the spin!) Neon handle, bright, metallic-flaked 8" propeller, and a lift so high we imprinted it with our logo - the airborne Jarvis. It's all plastic, and won't decapitate anyone, but it's still for 10-year-olds and up.

Water Won't Wet It!
Amaze and delight your science class! Pour this red sand into water. As you scoop it out and it breaks through the surface of the water, you can see that the sand isn't wet. The spoon is wet. Your fingers, if you used them, are wet. The sand is dry! The hydrophobic granules created with trimethylhydroxysilane are always dry. They call it Space Sand". We would, too, if we had to write trimethylhydroxysilane very often. See the back of the 2-oz pack for information about it and suggestions for experiments.

So A Beach Ball Meets A Frisbie…
and the fruit of their union is the HoverDisc". It's a giant (26" dia x 6" thick), fat, disk-shaped mylar balloon with a spring steel rod around the inside circumference. Fill it with air and sail it. Fill it with helium and tether it to the included 5-foot elastic "hoverband" for a flying yo-yo. Does nice aerobatic tricks and comes with instructions and some decorative stick-ons. We'll pick (1) of (5) colorful graphic styles.

We're sorry. You pictured slinging a sow into your neighbor's backyard, didn't you? Hurling a Hampshire over a 6-ft fence. Do we look like agricultural terrorists? Do you think we want to turn someone into a bacon burger? Our 6" long pistol-shaped launcher flings 3/4" pink-plastic pigs -- gently -- up to 15 feet. Fired responsibly, the pistol poses no threat of destroying a silk purse, or anything else, with a sow's ear. It just offers a fun time lobbing (20) tiny swine at a target -- or maybe at a bowl of sauerkraut. Out of pigs? Buy some extras for only (2) bucks!

Godzilla's Glow Stick
A bright, green glow stick for guys with big paws. Who are either at a really good concert, or stalled on a dark road. A full 15" long x 3/4" dia, it has a plastic loop and a festive red hang-cord on one end. They'll see you coming or (if you're stalled) not coming, for up to (12) hours, the packaging says.

Hydroponic Babies
Finally, a new way to grow your offspring. Soak the little (egg-sized) egg in water for a couple of days and a 4" tall, naked rubber baby will crack the shell and hatch. Some people might think it's just the tiniest bit creepy, but we think it makes a nice change from hatching dinosaurs.

One-Way Wizard Stone
Amuse and amaze your friends with this 3-3/4" long x 3/4" wide lozenge of glow-in-the-dark acrylic (so it's not a stone; so sue us) that will only spin counter-clockwise. Try it the other way and it wobbles to a stop and reverses itself. How does it do that? Go ask a wizard. And be careful around toddlers; it's swallowable.
